Well Hello!

You're not a widow/widower are you, Tom?

Ack-ack!

Ack-ack-ack!

Another page, another melody.

And no, I still won't dance.

Don't ask me.

As in HHW partner who doesn't post and loses their partner to HHW - well doesn't really LOSE but, you get it

Ron, are you feeling better?

You understood correctly, Ben just began a new train of thought.  I suppose because he couldn't think of any widows or widowers.

I'm so-so.

I hope you're right about him changing the train of thought.  It sure looks like he was responding directly to Jose's question, though.

The Butt of Bad Publicity

That is the name of my new musical, which unfortunately because of the strike will not open on Broadway this evening.

Hold on, the catagory is those who post and their post widows/widowers.  In other words, one does and one doesn't.

Der Brucer and myself both post.  That puts us in a rarer catagory, that of mutual posters.  (Which kinda sounds kinky, when you think about it in a Jose/TCB kind of way.)

Aren't the above actually "Dear Partners" currently alive & kicking?  Or did I misunderstand what Jose meant by "Widows/Widowers"?
Yes, you misunderstood what Jose meant.  He was thinking in terms of the usage comperable to golf widows or football widows, or PTA widowers - one partner is completely involved, leaving the other to be sort of stranded on the sidelines.

(The rallying of the Hainsies/Kimlets for Brain from Planet X was special, in that so many of the widows/widowers also came along.)

Of course then there are the HHW Orphan pets... ;)
If dogs, they're called Arf-ans.

I'm not sure what to call the cats.  Such a noise coming from a feline would sound disgusting.

I thought that might have been the definition but the list didn't fit, as far as I could tell.

Oh, how about Noel & Joy!

Why TIVO has a "wishlist" Direct TV has "keyword".  No wonder I have trouble remembering, you think they could have come up with something better than "keyword" ::)

It's usually followed by a hair ball and a clean up on aisle 3

Thanks to everyone who clued me in/cleared it up.

I feel so out of it.

And I blame YOU, Jose, for confusing me!

And I think Woody and DerB are the only couple who currently posts. Am I correct? I know that Ann and Jed used to post but I don't know their current status. I gladly put them on the list though as a couple who both post.

DR RLP - I noticed that "96 hours of restoration" on a few films as well.....quien sabe?

Looking at Amazon and the message boards, it seems a LOT of us fell in love with this movie and Susan Hayward when this film was broadcast on NBC'S SATURDAY NIGHT AT THE MOVIES....during its first season.....I remember the broadcast sequence as GENTLEMEN PREFER BLONDES, THE SNOWS OF KILMANJARO, and then TITANIC!!!  But I could be wrong.

I believe you're wrong about GPB being the first presentation. I think it was HOW TO MARRY A MILLIONAIRE, and NBC then and there made the decision to show the film full screen instead of letterboxed dooming us to decades of pan and scan horrors.

Here is a pic of myself with Ron LaRosa at the Sail Away Party.  Ron used to be an actor - he was with Les Mis for years.  He later went into casting, and is now the "Global Casting Coordinator" for Walt Disney Entertainment.  And a great friend as well.

I spent most of the afternoon with POWER RANGERS OPERATION OVERDRIVE - Volume 3. I did the first two volumes at the end of spring, so this is volume 3. I'm thinking there will eventually be five volumes in all since they're searching for five precious jewels that go in a crown, and they've now located three of them.
