Spoo -- I had been spelling ol' Guylius's name wrong, so had to modify the posts. Glad I caught that before Guy saw it -- wouldn't want to be insulting nor disrespectful to the old family name ...

Some of the lurkers here are actually nice department:  I just got the coolest email from someone who listened to the MP3 I posted a link to the other day of my bossa nova version of "Greensleeves."  What a nice, unexpected surprise.  Thank you, kind lurker.   ;D

Edisaurus - we're all having tremendous difficulty posting those clips to You Tube - I can't do it without downloading some software I don't want or understand, and Cason can't do it off a DVD I burned for him with the Quick Time files.  Hence, can you do it?  It's easy to create an account and you have the stuff and can make them to the You Tube specs.

Can you tell me what the problem is? Then I will know which path to take...

I did these at the original resolution, wich is not full res, but they may still be too big. I can't shrink them at home but I may be able to prevail upon the place where I posted the birthday video if I bride them again...

Anyone who asked for a DVD, I'm sending them in a sleeve instead of a jewelcase, as those don't survive shipping very well. I will email you the cover I did if you want to have a fancier label. (I don't have a label program...)

PM me off list if you want me to send it.

The score for Ashley Brown and its revisions are finished.  I think it's much better now and tomorrow I shall drop it off at the stage door for the MD.

I must now ready myself for my trek up to Riverside Church for the Men's Chorus rehearsal. I look forward to seeing my beloved harpist Karen Lindquist; besides being a fabulous musician, she's always good for a lot of laughs and I love rehearsals with her.

Ah, I see the problem---they have a limit of 100mb, which is why YouTube generally looks so crappy. Your files are 600-800. I didn't have time to look at YouTube's specs...I was sort of busy editing up until it was time to leave.

I don't have a way to resize here but I should be able to do it on Friday. The place I'm working for the next few days is new and I don't have friends there to beg favors from, but I'll see what I can do. :-)

DENTAL CLARIFICATION

I did not have a root canal.. I "celebrated" BK's birthday by having several old fillings in various molars removed and replaced... my jaw still aches as many of the fillings were right at the gumline

I am very glad to hear that RLP's root canal went well!!!

Sleepy from the sandwich and beans and fries.  Oh, and I tried the sweet potato fries this time and they were beyond delicious.

I thought Matt was making me hungry with his baking.  Beyond delicious sweet potato fries-I WANT SOME!

Sorry DR Jeanne - I didn't go into the nitty gritty because I didn't know that anyone really cared.

The conference starts Wednesday - the day I fly home - in San Diego.  The DH and I are taking a few days of vacation in nearby La Jolla before it starts.  And today was a gorgeous day - mid 60's, sunny, not a cloud in the sky.  We napped, ate delicious food, window-shopped, and strolled by the sea, taking in the seals and the pelicans.  Just a really wonderful, relaxing time.

DR JoseSPiano - thanks for the offer.  I'm not going to be in San Diego proper long enough to take you up on your offer, but next time I get back here I definitely want to!!!

Well, this agenda makes infinitely more sense.

Sounds like you had a really nice time! That was my old stomping ground for a while, you know.

I just read that the next MGM musical box from Warners will be released in April and will contain 9 musicals:

Hit The Deck, Kismet, and Deep in My Heart, three 2-disc double feature sets:  Broadway Melody of 1936/ Broadway Melody of 1938 and Born to Dance/Lady Be Good,  Nancy Goes To Rio/Two Weeks With Love.

What a THRILL, finally, to be getting "Deep in my Heart" and the "Broadway Melody" films (especially the 1938 with Judy Garland and Buddy Ebsen).  The others are fun, too, lest you think I'm sniffing at them.

SPOILER?

I don't know if you've watched this (3rd) season MattH is reviewing or not, so I don't know whether your comment was tongue-in-cheek or "for real".  If the latter, don't read further!!!!

SPOILER !

They, did, however, get found.  Only it seems that "them what found 'em" don't especially want to help them.

Sometimes, it's better to stay "lost".     ;D

Good Evening!

Well, the set of auditions I played today went very well.  Sort of better than expected.  We saw some cute, cute, cute(!!!) kids today, and a couple of them were actually talented too!  :)

What's a DDD discount code?

It's a code entered into a special nationwide database whenever a lady buys a DDD cup undergarment!  She gets a discount, and it alerts menfolk to her existence.
