DR JoseSPiano, I only brought home a few Peanut Butter Blossoms for the DH.  We're trying very hard not to eat that kind of stuff, so better not to have them around.

I had a rare Sunday morning off, but we are doing a Lessons & Carols service this afternoon if I can get there.  The annual choir holiday party follows after.  I am now making Chicken Marbella to take along - that tried & true [and tasty!] Silver Palate recipe.

Dick Powell was certainly a fine light comedy actor.  His way with a line is very nice.

Debbie:  Do you think a movie needs a plot?

Dick:  Well...it helps move the story along.

Thanks for the vibes, DR Singdaw.  Fortunately, I'm not so sich that I can't putter - sometimes I think my body sees to it that I'm forced to take some puttering time.

So, I'm off to get cleaned up and go to the other end of the house to put the ornaments on the Christmas tree and watch White Christmas while doing so.

Bye for now!

I am hungry for such a sandwich.

I have had two sordid dreams about my neighbor across the street in the last few days...the moon and the stars must be crossing Uranus, or something.

Portrait of Jenny is one of my favorite movies.

I believe it is the first major motion picture not to have any opening credits. Something which is common place now.

Also did you know there was a musical version with music by Howard Marren and lyrics by Enid Futterman? The song Remember Today was recorded by Alix Korey who also recorded two songs by Skip Kennon on the same cd.

I must check ebay and the flop on the couch and finish last night's Meena Kumari film. It is quite good.

Plot: A drinking driver accidently kills a poor farmer. The judge sentences the man to two years of taking care of the farmer's family.

I happened to attend the same performance as Hairspray as BK. This was my first in person meeting with him. I spotted him as he was taking his seat.

Dreams are apt to be strange this weekend because of the comet influence.  It has nothing to do with Uranus.

Only two years? What happened to the family after the two years were up. Did the starve? Were they evicted from the farm?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Debbie:  I'd like to get a dye job like Isabella.

Dick:  Isabella is a natural blonde.

Debbie:  Are you sure?

Dick:  We're very good friends......she told me.

My guess is by that time the criminal was so in love with Meena, he married her.

Or else he died while trying to save her from a natural disaster - in which they both perished.  8)

Well, DR JRand57, I hope that Christmas is kind to you.  You certainly never exhibit the raging erotomania of our DR MBarnum, so I had no idea!

Hmm... Still not sure exactly what I want to do today.  I may just hop on the train down to Columbus Circle, then get out and walk in the slush for a bit and see where I end up.

Although, I do have to admit, with this crappy weather, I'm also really tempted to stay in today and watch some DVDs.  God knows, I have plenty still in the shrink wrap.  But since I'm leaving town on Thursday for almost two weeks, I really just want to BE in New York City before I take my leave of absence.

Really cute.  Keith walked in just as it began so we could both enjoy it.

Hmm... Both Cymbeline and The Glorious Ones don't have any discount codes right now.   Hmm...  I guess since they're both in their closing weeks.  ???  Although, I know they've both been on TKTS constantly (and unfortunately).

DR Jose, I just spoke to Charlotte, who wants to see ENCHANTED but Wednesday is bad for her.  Could we all go on Tuesday perhaps? It's still playing on 68th & Broadway.

Tuesday is my last day of work for 2007, Gypsy ECC.  So... If she wants to go to an evening show..  However, I know that you want to spend time with her, so feel free to go with her during the day.  I've already seen it twice - this way, we'll be even. ;)
