I wonder if Allison ever stayed in one of the rooms at the Sportsman's Lodge, JRand? After all, it was a long drive over the hill to her Hollywood home...at night...in the dark...on that windy road...of course she would have to sign in as Mrs. John Smith...just to keep the gawkers away.

My guess is - no.  At least it was never reported by Hedda or Louella.

Or Walter or Earl for that matter.  8)

It is indeed a lovely film, and I thank M Barnum for introducing it to me.

Or should it be introducing me to it?

Victor Jory homely!  And Anna Magnani was not?

Well....by comparison.  :P  It's poking around in the same barrel, in fact.

Last year, or so, I posted a link to a Hallelujah Chorus that went VERY wrong, and now I can't find it.

Actor John Berg was found dead Sunday, apparently his death was a suicide.  He was best known for his roles in LAW & ORDER, NCIS, and THE PRACTICE.  He was 58.

Thanks for all the photos!  I haven't had time (or the desire, really ::)) to decorate my place.  Both my parents' and sister's houses are quite festive.  We'll go to my parents' for Christmas eve gift unwrapping and my sister's for Christmas day.

Looking thru the photos of those who have passed away this year, I was surprised to see that John Inman from ARE YOU BEING SERVED had died from Hepatitis A.  I realize that he was 71, but that seems a strange cause of death.

I think I neglected to compliment DR Ben on his and Ant's holiday decorations.  Very nice!

I want to visit and tell them personally.

Of course, I did...I have a season ticket.  And I got to chat with Jarod for a few minutes after the show AND he autographed my CD of Damn Yankees! :D

Otherwise, he and the show were very good!  Talk about menacing! :o

It doesn't sound like that SURVIVOR: CHINA broad is going to give back the $50,000.00.

Jrand, you don't like Susan Sarandon?  As an actress or because of her personal beliefs?  Personally, she is one of the sweetest actresses I have ever met.

I thought you had.  It is still hard to imagine Jarod Emmick as Sweeney.

I thought you had.  It is still hard to imagine Jarod Emmick as Sweeney.

That's what he said...that he'd probably never get another chance to play the role, so he took it.  Quite successfully, I'd say. :)
