NOTES WITH WIND
« on: December 18, 2007, 12:23:50 AM »

Well, you've read the notes, the notes had much wind, and now it is time for you to post until the windy cows come home.

I had a senile moment in the notes, but I've fixed it and all birthday wishes are there now.

I love "The Days Of Wine And Roses" and "For Your Eyes Only. :) "Gigi" (I'm ashamed to admit) is the only other song that Tomovoz has listed that I know, and I don't particularly care for it.  I like Lerner and Loewe, but not that one.

I suppose I'll have to think of some on my own...later. ::)

Work today.

I did not watch the CLASH OF THE CHOIRS last night....not sure about that show, though I will watch it once just to see.  I am annoyed at all of the reality shows, although I understand the need for them now.  Maybe the great number of them will help keep them OFF the air when they are no longer needed.

Last night I saw ENCHANTED.....thought it was very good.  I loved the songs and the performances.  Two things got into my hair....and that is a chore, I tell you.....that the dance at the ball was called a waltz....and didn't seem to be.  AND someone I avoid like the plague turned up in a major part....oh well.

I also saw THE WALKER which I enjoyed very much.  (Saw both films because I read about them HERE yesterday).  I think Mr Woody Harrelson should receive an Oscar nomination for his performance....but I thought I was watching a mystery and it turned out to be a character study.  Lauren Bacall (close friend of DR ELMORE) and Lily Tomlin were very good.  Interesting to see Tomlin play the wife of Ned Beatty....which she also did in NASHVILLE.

DR MS - I also liked "Bless the Beasts and the Children" sung by Carpenters.  I like the film, too, though I haven't seen it in many years.

TOD:

"Written on the Wind"
"Woman's World"
