We've discussed this before, a long time ago, but there's a very funny musical about Hoover co-written by Harry Shearer available on LA Theatre Works--J. Edgar!, with Kelsey Grammer as Hoover.  "Mr. Hoover, anarchist on line 3."   ;D

Well, I'm about 3/4 of the way through the new, new director's cut of BR whilst listening to the director's commentary.  He has thus far refused (sometimes in contorted language) to refer to Sean Bean by name.  Every other actor has been named when they're on screen, but Bean is always "that one," "the girl," "her," etc.  What's up with that?  I know Bean had some mental issues vis a vis James Woods, but did she lose it with Scott, too?

I am confused... what is "BR"   and isn't THIS Sean Bean?

Why is the director referring to him as "the girl" and "her"?

TCB, you weren't serious earlier about Herb Alpert, were you?

Now now, Jeffrey, I was a big fan of Herb Alpert AND Sergio Mendez.

The #1 hit in the UK this week is by Shaun the Sheep. (Wallace & Grommit)

Besides hating and persecuting Jews, Blacks, and Gays, and bugging people's phones and doing smear campaigns, what are a couple of other infamous Hooverisms?

We watched "For Your Consideration" last night. Not as funny as the previous efforts but still enjoyable (and believable!).

I was thinking about how much I love MOST of the James Bond title songs, with ON HER MAJESTY'S SECRET SERVICE'S "All the Time in the World" being tops on my list, but, it's not really a "Title Song," is it?

I really like what Shirley Bassey does with "Moonraker," in addition to her superb vocals on "Goldfinger" and "Diamonds are Forever."  It's a pity that her "Mr. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang" and "Thunderball" aren't heard often.

Actually All the Time in the World is not song over the main titles. The main titles have an instrumental

I  thought Tom Jones sang THUNDERBALL.

And how could I forget Nancy Sinatra's YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE.

I'll even cope with the A-Ha and Duran Duran tracks - but NOT Madonna's effort.

I quite like the "Garbage" song.

for the Bond theme and song fans - Scott Walker's "Only Myself to Blame" from "The World Is Not Enough" is great.

I had a Raggedy Ann and A Raggedy Andy and the story book that told all about them....

MY mother had the Salvation Army come one Saturday and take all the toys out of my room one Saturday while I was at the Library working on homework... I was 12 and "too old" to have toys in my room......

of course it was not discussed with me, I just came home to find all my precious possessions gone...

Scarred?  Well the Vixter has never had to get rid of anything....

Of course it rather looks as though we live in a storage facility.....
