Phrased properly by a skilled attorney.

Perhaps it should be you thought that once you moved move in ...   you aren't there yet and hopefully won't be for a very long time  ;D

DR George - As for your page-loading problems last night... It could have just been heavy traffic on the various computer servers.  I could tell the speed was a bit slower at Steve's last night - I guess a lot of people on the internet at midnight.  -And it also took me a few minutes to not get the "All Circuits Are Busy" message when I tried calling my family after midnight.  However...

Your computer may be cache-ing your temporary internet files on your new external hard drive, and/or it may be accessing any art work and other files you have saved "locally" that you've uploaded to HHW.  Check your browser browser preferences and check to see how much hard drive space you have set aside on your main disk for disk caching.  Bump it up a couple of megs or even a gig and see if that helps your page load time.

Thanks for the info.  I don't think it has anything to do with Internet traffic.  It's only on my computer (not my work computer) and it's only been a problem on HHW...once I go to another site, it's quick again.  And I haven't gotten any error messages.  It just takes forever to load the pages.  But I upped the caching folder amount.  We'll see if that helps. :)

Dakota, did you mean the Austalian miniseries ALL THE RIVERS RUN, or did you mean the Robert Redford's A RIVER RUNS THROUGH IT?

I meant the Robert REdford movie...

that is what happens when you are watching one and you cant think of the other... ;)

http://www.iowafirstcaucus.org/caucus_information.php This is a link to the Iowa Caucus guide and lots of info on how they work.  This is Democratic because the Republicans just do a straw poll.  I know most of you aren't interested in the details, but for anyone who wants to follow along on Thursday night this is what we are doing.

The DH and I just watched the Jerry Herman documentary, and it is dynamite!  :)  :)

Can someone post what the official title is?  I can't find it through my Comcast DVR because nothing comes up when I search "Jerry Herman" and it's not on Amazon.com.  I don't know if it's already been shown here in the PNW or not. :-\

Yeah, but the only piece of propery I own is my funeral plot.

Is it appraised for less than 10K?   ;D

I am curious if any DR saw any of the Kathy Griffin/Anderson Cooper coverage last night on CNN?  I'm trying to imagine their chemistry together...

It depends...

Is DR TCB included in the appraisal, or not?   ;)

Well, I need to take a shower and get dressed.  I'm going to see "Enchanted" at 4:45.  My friend Margo and I (and at least one of her kids) will meet for lunch before that, so I gotta go!

The "home movies" in the Jerry Herman production look/sound to me like they've been synched up to the OBC's.

Chocolate lab Cody returns home to his owner tomorrow morning, and frankly - it will be a bit of a relief.  He's pretty dominant, and Zach is a good sport to put up with him.

Oh, forgot to mention that DF of HHW, Jason Graae, has a very nice featured segment in the Jerry Herman program.  :D

It's on tonight!! ;D

And an only slightly viewed DVD will be on eBay soon.  :)

George, that Freevid thing you linked to is so cool--I did the Freerecorder add-on and it's fantastic.  I just recorded that Mauriat "Je t'aime" tune I posted about yesterday off of YouTube and it works great.  I can now use Cakewalk to edit it (the YouTube version had it cobbled together so that it lasted about 5 minutes) and have a nice CD of it.  :)

I seem to be ringing in the new year with a bad cold. Blech. But after two naps I am now ready for my first Bollywood movie of 2008...the highly tauted KAL HO NAA HO (2003) starring Shah Ruk Khan, Saif Ali Khan, and Preity Zinta.

Thanks, DR TCB - it was a nice ending to Coach Carr's career and to a season that started pretty dismally.

Back from picking up my friend Gregg at the airport, having a fabulous Chinese buffet dinner (ate WAY too much food), and coming back here to give him his birthday present before he headed back to Winston-Salem. He always comes back to NC on New Year's Day, so 2008 has officially begun with him back home.

This afternoon, I finished listening to the audio commentary on the NAKED PREY DVD. Very well done, interestingly composed, and the writer has a pleasing voice to listen to for 98 minutes.

Surprisingly, the bonus features on the disc are pretty skimpy for a Criterion disc. They have Paul Giamatti reading the story of Robert Colter that the film's screenplay was based on. But that was less than 5 minutes.

All of the soundtrack's music cues can be accessed and listened to individually, but the native African rhythms and chanting wouldn't exactly be my music of choice if I was wanting to listen to something.

And then there was the theatrical trailer which ran 3 minutes. That's it for bonus features!
