Had a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich for lunch - excellent. No fries, no onion rings, just the sandwich. I went to the mail place to find that the two errant and truant packges still haven't arrived - both people tell me they were NOT sent media mail, so they'll both be getting a little note later - since one of the items was a Christmas gift, I'm not sure how I'll proceed with that fellow even if he decides he'll send me a like item.

I've spent most of the afternoon compiling my 2007 annual report - thank goodness I keep track of all this in a spreadsheet! Last year, I spent 122.75 hours in 57 meetings, presented 62.25 hours of programming to a total of 471 people, and engaged in 139 consults (in-person, phone, email) that required 58.5 hours of time. And on the fifth day, I information-waitressed.

Yes, I "catch up" reading unread posts without logging in, as I don't want DRs to think I'm sitting there being rude, not responding, when I'm still behind in previous pages. Once I've caught up with all posts and notes, I log in.

I checked with the guy in charge of security for our stores a while back, and he told me that, if someone is holding up the store, always go along with the thief. The well-being of the employees is more valuable to the chain than any amount that could be in the till.
