I'd still like someone to talk me through saving these clips to my computer or somewhere.  Are the follies clips still up - love to have those, too.

BK (and anyone else), copy and save or print (or both) these instructions:

1. Copy the entire URL of the YouTube clip that you want to download

2. Go to http://keepvid.com

3. Paste the URL into the box near the top of the page that's under the words: "Download videos DIRECT from most video sites Copy the link of the page with the video on it and paste it here"

4. Select "Youtube" from the dropdown list next to the box where you pasted the URL (there are other sites that you can download from, too!)

5. Click "DOWNLOAD" - there will appear a link labeled "›› Download Link ‹‹  (.flv - Flash Video)"

6. Click on the ›› Download Link ‹‹ link

7. When the "File Download" box appears, click on "Save" and save it where you want

8. HOWEVER, make sure that you rename the link and if it doesn't have it, add the file extension .flv.  This is very important.  Most of the time, it won't have the file extension so you should manually add it to the file name.

9. Click HERE to download a free flash video player to play the videos once they're saved on your computer.

Any questions??  Just ask. :)

I actually have yet to have a Levain cookie in 2008.  And I've been Monkey Cake free for at least 48 hours.

Over Christmas I asked Bryan's girlfriend if she has experienced Levain's yet.  Her face lit up just a bit as she said yes.  I forgot to ask about the Monkey Cake.

TOTD led me to track down a VHS copy of "Experience Preferred But Not Essential".  My old copy "disappeared" when the borrower was transferred to another School. Never trust a P.E. teacher!

(now that I've purchased it again, I guess it will issued on a DVD format next week)

I'd been wondering about this tacky crab costume from the tv ads to LITTLE MERMAID.  Now I see the hat is supposed to be his eyes.  And here I thought the BEAUTY & THE BEAST designs smacked of tacky theme park! That Disney. When are they going to produce something good?

Larry, assuming that you know about (or heard) it, what do you think of the German cast recording of the stage version of Disney's Hunchback of Notre Dame?  I LOVE this recording/version of the score. :D

If you know it and don't like it...that's okay. ::)

If you haven't heard it or heard of it...let me know. ;)

I just watched MEDIUM; I don't understand the "American Idol sans Yodel" versions of the songs, and I'd think the teacher would know the tempo for "My Favorite Thngs"from any good recording of the score.

I'm puzzled by some of the events, though.

Good news. It seems that Nicole Kidman is to be replaced by an actress in the film of "The Reader".

Great book.

Actually, Sherlock was not supposed to be with us.  Our plan was to leave him with the dog trainer, at her house where he would have other dogs to play with & not sleep in a kennel.

Late Wednesday afternoon, the day before we were to leave, the vet called.  The special test we had done on his poop showed a bacteria which could be contagious, if the poop wasn't picked up immediately.  Hustling on our parts was necessary to change our traveling plans, reservations as well as what we needed to pack.

On the up side, if we had had to take him to the dog trainer's house in the morning, we may not have gotten over the pass into California before the pass was closed.

Danise, I’m very pleased to know you are beginning to heal properly now.  I thought about you yesterday while talking to a woman from Florida who was complaining about the cold weather in San Francisco.

So many non- mainstream films have become chic, that I'm not sure anymore.

"Fanny" is a non mainstream film these days and one which my mother took me to at an art house at the time it was released.  I saw a lot of adult movies as a kid and got them.   The Palms Theatre.   No longer there of course.
I watched part of "Fanny" the other day and just cried because there was no one there anynore to "get" it with me.

Interestingly enough (or not)Ii worked as a paralegal in the typical high-rise tha becquse they were escape, and it replaced the Palms Theater.

I liked "THE SLENDER THREAD" too.   And I loved movies  because I loved escape, and I was (and still am) a very precousis child.

"Strangers When We Meet" is still a favorite.  Something for Everyone" is too.  So is "It's a Great Feeling."

Finished watching The Hoax and am deciding if I want to watch anything else.  I wrote a teeny bit a couple of hours ago - may or may not write more - still waiting for muse Margaret to call.

I was able to finish the SABRINA clips much more quickly than I thought. Henry Gibson once again appeared as a judge in an episode (must have given the BOSTON LEGAL folks the idea to cast him as a judge on that show).

As I suspected there were no bonus features in the SABRINA set, another way I was able to finish up with it so quickly.

So, I watched OCEANS THIRTEEN on Blu-ray. It was an OK caper film, but after three of those (and countless others by other hands), you could see the crosses and double crosses from a mile away. I didn't find a single surprise in this third version. It's a pleasant time passer, but no more than that.

Yes, the color had been deliberately over-saturated a la CSI: MIAMI. I'm not sure I understand why they did it.

SVU had a very compelling case tonight, a Mariska-oriented episode which I'm sure will be her Emmy episode submission for this season.
