I will. DR Ginny was kind enough to send me pictures of all of the snow around her house.

I can't even imagine it. We've had some cold snaps but nothing really bad this year.

It's not just actors, bk, it's all young people. I used to think it was just CA, but I guess it exists other places, too. Lots of kids these days don't know what it is to work for something and be proud of their accomplishments. Especially when they have existed through life this far with parents handing them things.

I have to agree with DR Matthew. It's not just work but a lack of respect. I'm going to be fifty in May and I still say "Yes, Sir/Ma'am" or "No, Sir/Ma'am" (even to the check out person who ARE only kids) and I was told by one that they don't say that because they don't feel that they have to unless the person has earned their respect.

My butt still remembers the respect for any person older then I that was drilled into it when I was their age and so (therefore) does my mouth. I don't think that the attitude adjustment area (the butt) is fine tuned quite as much as it needs to be these days.

Where is that phrase from? Some cooking show? My barista finds a way to say that every f**kin morning. At 5:15 a.m., it is very annoying.

No, it is NOT all young people. Yes, there are kids who can't be bothered with working for a paycheck - even when they're on the payroll.

But there are also a lot of kids out there who very gladly and cheerfully go the extra mile, and I'm personally glad to know them. Tarring all young people with the same brush does these hard working younger men and women a great disservice.

And, worse, it isn't something that can be attributed to the parents. Of der Grampa's grandlads, we've got one who will make us proud, and the other could care less about anyone but himself. We can't exactly blame the parenting on this one.

I managed to get out of work 10 minutes early and TOTALLY beat the traffic...traffic in the parking garage, traffic en route home.
