bk - I got a response from the Editor of TSR.  He says that 's already had "brief correspondence with someone from Kritzerland."

He is trying to set up an email "blast" to subscribers regarding Primrose, but they have run into some technical problems with their list of late.

He didn't say, but I guess they're still trying to get it working.

And that's all she wrote.

Except that it has already had a public performance, no?  :)

I did it at an audition, not a cabaret.

DR Miss Karen, I have died on stage, but I have never been killed on stage, so I can be of little help with your question.

Yes, the Sondheim Review person answered my initial e-mail and I sent them a pared down release for the eBlast.  I can't imagine what the problem would be, but she's going to have a lot of upset Sondheads on her hands if this sells out before the review hits their magazine (IF I send them a review copy).

According to the Fed Ex tracking site, the digital postal machine is on the truck for delivery.  Now, Fed Ex normally delivers before noon to my mail place except on days when I need something by a certain time.  Then they probably show up at four, long after I'll be on my way to eye appointment, meal, and run-through.  Which means I have to get up at eight and drive over there, THEN set it up, all of which was supposed to happen later today.

Lunch started late and lasted a long time. Enjoyable, but it didn't leave a lot of time for viewing this afternoon.

I did enjoy the fresh air and sunshine, however. It is a glorious day here today.

I did get a new review copy of something today: another PBS show, this one dealing with African-Americans. It premieres May 6th.

I began my afternoon viewing by watching (finally) Sunday's JOHN ADAMS. Dealing with his four year presidency, it's a program fraught with conflict and deep sadness. Very beautifully done but not fun to sit through all that conflict and pain.

Then I put in disc 2 of PSYCH (the first disc was filled with bonuses but only the pilot which I didn't want to see again.)

I started with the episode of the stolen diamond ring at the hotel. Lots of fun stuff with Shawn and Gus.

Word is that Fall Of The Roman Empire is nice and sharp with lousy color, meaning faded brown pasty skin tones and nothing that pops as it should.  I'm so bored of these sloppy, lazy people who know nothing about color doing these transfers - it's so bloody easy to fix.

I didn't get quite to the end of it, but I'll finish it later before I start on LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD.

Still no Fed Ex delivery (they apparently deliver several times a day).  So, unless it shows up in the next twenty minutes, I'm not sure what to do, other than try to have someone else get it later today.

Has anyone ever heard of a group called The Manhattan Transfer?  They are coming to the Western Washington Fair in September with Al Jarreau.  They must be new.   ;)

The Manhattan Transfer has been around since I was A Pup.
And They Are Very Very Good.

I still walk Zach three to five miles per day, which is good, but it's not aerobic exercise.

What??  Walking isn't aerobic exercise??  Since when?  It most certainly is!

We just received a fed-x delivery from DB of DR MBarnum whom we haven't seen in ages.  Keith called so I could go say hello, even though I'm in my grubbies.

He met Sherlock for the first time today.

Time to change into my hiking grubbies, Sherlock & I need exercise.  It is 58 & sunny out.  I had better enjoy it while it lasts, cooler temps are expected by Friday.

ArnoldMBrockman, I'm pretty sure TCB was teasing.:)

We saw that at the Brit Festival a number of years ago & enjoyed the concert.

Naturally, Fed Ex has still not arrived.  They have until six-thirty and I'm sure they'll either arrive at six-twenty-nine or say they attempted and will deliver tomorrow - if it's the latter, they will not be happy speaking to me, that's all I have to say.

Amazon sent me today THE SUSPICIONS OF MR WHICHER, which I look forward to reading, and I've worked on parts for "Take The 'A' Train." It's one of those jobs I took on to makes some fast money, but I wish I'd turned down.  Oh, well . . .

Well...  I just realized that tonight is Charlotte D'Amboise's night off during the week, so I think I might just hold off on seeing ACL until tomorrow night, and just go to see "Valley of the Dolls" instead.  Hmm.. ;)

In honor of Dylan's birthday, I just carried a big box of dog treats and am a wee bit tired.  Toby and Dylan don't seem to care that I'm tired.
