I had to correct our friend who referred to Sherlock as a Burmese Mountain Dog.  She sent this (altered) photo & asked if we are sure he isn't from Burma.



The nose of the other dogs belongs to Brewster the little Labradoodle.  Back then he did leaps over Sherlock.

The good news is that Kerri seems to be interested.  This could be fun!

I suggest beginning with Casablanca or To Kill A Mockingbird.  I have found they are usually well appreciated by younger viewers.

Something I have always wondered about Extreme Home Improvement...

How do they get around having inspections, etc if the homes are built within a week? From the tales I have heard from freinds, inspectors don't move that fast.

I'm also a fan of the THIN MAN films.  Another favorite is THE MAD MISS MANTON with Barbara Stanwyck & Henry Fonda.

Been watching a motion picture on DVD.  Had In and Out for lunch.  And just found out that the American Cinematheque at the Egyptian is showing a brand new 70mm print of Khartoum, which was shot in Ultra Panavision 70 (like Ben-Hur and Mutiny On The Bounty.  Even though their screen isn't really big enough, it's too tempting not to go, especially since I've never seen Khartoum.

It was our experience that it can take a week to get an inspector out to look at one thing.

It is a wonderful movie TCB! And one of DR Elmore's favorites as well...it stars Edna Mae Oliver and James Gleasonl...Mae Clarke and Robert Armstrong are also in it.
