The only "modern" film series I enjoyed are the Universal Soldier films....not the Jean-Claude Van Damme films, but rather the straight-to-video ones that starred Matt Battaglia.

Are you the Kettle in underwear?

Yes, but how do you know?

Why, everyone in New York knows!

Just a minute.....

Ain't it the truth, DR BEN....ain't it the truth.  All I can say is, if Arthur Miller wasn't dead, this would kill him.

Edisaurus,

Saw a new Closer trailer on TNT last night - a good one that focused on the shows humor -

"For Heaven's sake - it is a head!"

Is it one of yours?

I've actually made several tailored to run on other networks: FOX, US and Lifetime. It will be interesting to see if it brings us new viewers. We'll be going up against HOUSE this year...

I'm very jealous of bk getting to go into the Wilshire Ebell Theatre. It's a few doors down from my regular cheap-o LA motel (78/night!) the Wilshire Dunes. It's a nice neighborhood to walk around and I've often walked by this theatre and wondered what it was like inside.

Matt H-After we watch HOUSE & BONES I’ll have to read your comments.
We weren’t keen on the last MEDIUM,

just grateful it ended the direction the show had taken.

I suppose I'm up.  Looks like another scorcher outside, but maybe it won't be SO hot today.  Still awaiting word from Mr. Geissman, but I will be having a fun lunch tomorrow with Mr. Patrick Cassidy.

Oh my, George AND TCB are both coming down with something or other.  Just let me know on my cell phone as soon as you can if it's looking like it may best to postpone lunch on Thursday.  (If one or both of you are still sick on Thursday, I could as of now instead do lunch Friday early afternoon, and even noon-ish on Saturday  - Sat. rehearsal doesn't start until 2.  To be honest, if you're still feeling sick, I wouldn't want to catch anything that could pass on to the cast and crewespecially.)

But I'll assume until i hear otherwise that we're still on for Thursday at 1.  We'll talk Thursday morning, but let me know ASAP if you decide Thurs. is off.

Those of you who saw and liked/loved RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK. You OWE it to yourselves to see the thid one - INDIANA JONES AND THE LAST CRUSADE. Equally as entertaining as the first one, and it has the added bonus of Sean Connery taking Indy down a few pegs. Superb entertainment.

I'm in complete agreement!!!

DR Jennifer, if you say you would have enjoyed those last three minutes more if you hadn't known they were going to jump five years into the future, I'll have to take your word for it.

But I still don't get it.

 ;D  I so get it.
I don't even want to know there is a surprise ending, then I keep trying to figure it out.  Obviously you find it easier to stay in the moment & not think about such things.

Hell's Kitchen is on, too, that I know some of you like.

Watch - yes; like? Given a chance I'd watch a train wreck.

There is a similarity!

Okay.  So you're reading a novel.  It's a murder mystery.  You don't know whodunnit, but you know somebody dunnit.  Isn't part of that joy trying to figure out whodunnit?

Count me in as one of the ones who agrees with Matt H on this one regarding spoilers:

A true DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES spoiler would have said that (if it were at all true) Susan is married to Jack Shepherd five years into the future.
Or that Lynette Scavo (if it were at all true) was Gabby's prison bitch five years into the future.
Cherry and his associates started setting up the "Five Years Later" ending earlier this season with dialogue and action, it has never really been a true secret, so I don't understand how saying that the last few minutes of the show would take place five years into the future is a "spoiler."

BIG BANG THEORY had a funny and sweet episode last night.  Now that the season is over, I highly recommend watching the re-runs from the beginning.  At least give it a try.  We find this show delightfully funny.

Do you find a family resemblance?

I just "discovered it three weeks ago - it is indeed great fun!

I'm a bit confused re: the spoiler discussion.

Are you guys only talking about that you don't think what was revealed about DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES was a true spoiler.

Because I thought we weren't talking about that show in particular.

I can agree that what we found out in advance about DH would not be considered a true spoiler to some.  But i wasn't just talking about that show. I was saying why i dislike spoilers in general.

I do agree that we did not find out specifics (which would have been the real spoiler).

And DR MattH i totally get your point of view, why it would make you more curious to see the show.  I just would have been more surprised by the reveal if i had not known about the reveal (even though i did not know the specifics).

I shall now work on some blocking patterns and then head off the theatre.

The new SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE starts this week, but after two seasons, I will not be watching....because they keep saying they are choosing America's favorite dancer, BUT the judges continue to over ride America's choices.  Two dancers who were in the bottom three for several weeks - not just one week - were kept on while better dances were sent packing.

I will not watch this year because of last year's asses:  Cedric and Danny.

Goodbye, So You Think You Can Dance.  Of course this is only My Opinion, and it should not cause anyone else to watch the show or NOT.  But don't try to CHANGE my opinion.  Thank you.
