I seem to be going without sleep at the moment

I don't know the longest I went without any sleep. Somewhere in the 36-48 hour range is my guess.  I was pretty out of it by the time I went to sleep

And the word of the day is: MULIEBRITY!

Francis the Talking Mule is famous, which means he's a mule celebrity...a MULIEBRITY!

I was going to say here we go round the  MULIEBRITY bush, until I read what it means, then I realized that would be very unseemly

I can't sleep either.

I ate some leftover Caesar salad that I took home late this afternoon from the Cheesecake Factory.  Here is what I learned - leftover salad doesn't work.  I ate a few bites but it was so soggy I just wanted to vomit on the ground and now, forty-five minutes later I am paying the price ($5.67).

I wonder if we'll get to page two before I toddle off to the bedroom environment?

Probably not at this rate.  

I think the longest I've gone without sleep is forty-eight hours - I have very vivid memories of it, as I did it prior to going in for my Army physical.  I'm pondering starting some short stories, and that event would certainly be an entertaining story I should think.  I actually have ideas for about four stories that have been floating around my cranium for the last year, and since I'm in my crazy writing mode and I'm definitely not interested in beginning a new novel until next year, I may as well give these a go, and if I like them, maybe we'll have a new book of short stories next year.  I do love the form.

I think the longest I've gone without eating was three full days and nights, maybe four.  The reason was simple - a terrible case of food poisoning from Carl's Jr.  I really think it was four days before I could eat anything, and even then I had to eat very little the first couple of days.  I think I lost six pounds in one week that week.

vixmom is up at this hour?  We actually have some late-night denizens for a change.  How lovely.
