Hi DR Kerry.  How is your ankle doing?  Do you have any idea how long it will be before you can remove your purple cast?

I hadn't actually even loaded AOL till just now so hadn't seen Mr. Rothman's e-mail, but I'm glad I didn't since it got him off his butt cheeks and here - he's a very bright person and always interesting and funny, so it'll be a pleasure to have him here.

I was there from 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. so I will be paid for that time.  Thanks so much for the vibes!

Welcome back, DR Ginny!   What did the doctor say?

Thanks, DR Singdaw.  Today was just a trip to the lab for a blood test in preparation for the doctor's appointment tomorrow.  After the lab, we went to Kroger, where Richard parked me at Starbucks to drink coffee and read a book while he did the grocery shopping.

Every time DR  Macchus posts I crave a lemon meringue tart from the Machus bakery & restaurant in Michigan, more famous as the location from which Jimmy Hoffa disappeared than for its lemon meringue tarts.

I re-watched the movie "Hairspray, the Musical" last night.

It's so much fun, most of the way through.

I'm still not "getting" Travolta's take on Edna Turnblad.  Edna was dynamic in the non-musical, and Travolta never gets there for me.  In that finale, when Edna cuts loose and dances, I just don't feel any enthusiasm like I do for all the others who had segments of the same number.

Gotta run!  Will be back later!

Just out of curiousity, does vixmom have a "block" on HHW so the vixter can't read posts posted when she's not online?

Welcome back,
Your dreams were your ticket out.

Welcome back,
To that same old place that you laughed about.

Well some names may have changed since you hung around,
But their dreams have remained and they're turned around.

Who'd have thought they'd lead ya (Who'd have thought they'd lead ya)
Here where we need ya (Here where we need ya)

Yeah we tease you a lot cause we've got you on the spot, welcome back,
Welcome back, welcome back, welcome back.

 ;D

Hi Jane, you sweet thing.   I get to wear my bright purple cast for an entire month!!!!  I don't know what treat I have in store after that, but I was talking to DRLaura earlier and told her that even though my foot is getting clausterphobic and would like some air, I will admit that this cast is easier to move around in and sleep in.  I guess I can't complain really!  I'm lucky to have the nice people on this here site in my life.
