It's only suppose to get up to 81 degrees today so should be a nice outside concert. It's 73.5 now and the concert isn't until 7:30 p.m.

I'll try to remember that it bothers you in future. Meantime, my only reason for not moving it left, right, up and down was that I was afraid it might trigger a reaction of some sort that would make all Miss Karen's intimates believe she was pixillated. And wouldn't that be 'unseemly' on her birthday?!!?

I spent an hour writing a new lyric to a new tune for the one song in Nudie Musical that's still bugging me - it's Eunice, the script girl's song - she had one in the movie that we cut (it's in the special features), which I never really cared for. I originally wrote a new lyric for that tune, but it still didn't work for me. Then I wrote several new tunes, and finally found one I thought okay and wrote a whole new lyric, the ideas of which were fine. But it still didn't seem to do the trick, so now I'm on to another and hopefully this one will stick.

I've done a few shows where we ended with a matinee. Striking after a matinee is definitely a lot easier than after a show that ends at 10:30 pm. There were a couple of shows (only a couple) where we didn't have to strike until the next day. I don't know if that actually was better.

I just watched the first episode of "Mad Men," in AMC's season one marathon. So far...it's just not grabbing me. $:-\$ I'll watch the second episode and see how I feel about it after that.
