ABBREVIATED

Well, you've read the notes, the notes were abbreviated (not really) and now it is time for you to post until the abbreviated cows come home (CCH).

And it is time I signed off and allowed the morning posters (not the mourning ones) free reign.

I guess the Fanny Pack looked too much like an "ass purse" for those who started wearing it as a modern-day version of the sporran.

DR Elmore3003:  I was sorry to read that your crabby got all sunburned.  Perhaps you'll remember to put sunscreen on it, too, next time you're out romping among the dunes.

DR Jennifer:  re: your comment about being "confused."

You watched "Will and Grace", yes?  Don't you remember Jack and Karen making out a lot?  I don't understand it, either, but I know it happens.  Both those houseguests may have it in mind to do a bit of experimentation.  She may hope to "turn" him, and he may simply be willing to let her try to see just what might happen.

An"asperse" is something along the lines of a fishing rod:  When you cast it, it becomes an "aspersion."

And folks cast aspersions a lot around here! :D

Past my bedtime it is.  Tonight,  I watched Merian C. Cooper's "The Last Days of Pompeii", an interesting film from 1935 filled with great scenery, some incredible spectacle for its time, and a volcanic eruption finale that destroys Pompeii.  Oops!  I hope I didn't give away too much about what happens.

I successfully installed the printer (and necessary programs) for my new printer!  I actually printed some stuff and it looks wonderful!  Those who have asked for the recordings of 1776 (Ben, Singdaw and Ron) will be getting some nicely printed booklets. :D

I also watched the sci-fi film "Jumper" this e'en.  Interesting.  A let-it-roll-over-you film you don't want to think about but which you can enjoy for its scenery, its special effects, and even its non-charismatic lead Hayden Christensen.  I didn't mind the time I gave to it, and it has a wonderful score by John Powell who also scored "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" (another wonderful score, IMO).

Not a problem for me...I watched the episode of "Doctor Who" where they went back in time to Pompeii when the volcano blew.

This is one of those not-very-well-written movies that I actually want to see because of the special effects. :)

P.S.  I think it's one you won't be sorry you watched.  Don't take it seriously, enjoy some incredible location shooting in Rome (!!), and enjoy Jamie Bell's rather enjoyable performance as a "fellow" Jumper who has been around much longer and knows a thing or two about the life the Jumper must lead.

They're scans of the covers with the track lists on the inside.
