I still can't think of any 1980s movies that I like.

And looking at peoples lists I realize I saw a LOT of 1980s movies that I had forgotten about.

Maybe I liked that Pee Wee Herman movie. That one I would watch again.

Actually, I can think of lots of 1990s and 2000s movies that I like. Not so many 1970s movies, however....aside from some Bollywood ones.

I went to a looooooooooooong, booooooooooooooorrrrring two hour meeting on some new software that the state may or may not buy. It was a lot of techinical babble about stuff that doesn't have anything to do with what my division does.

My supervisor went with me.

I almost fell asleep.

I could see out of the corner of my eye that my supervisor was taking lots of notes. I was agog that she actually knew what in tarnation they were talking about and that it actually was of enough importance to take notes.

Then I looked over and saw that she was just making a shopping list.

Oh yeah. All I can do now on the case is sit and wait, so I'll putter around at the office tomorrow and try to see what has piled up while I was gone. But this weekend no working allowed!!! I will be cleaning the house, maybe powerwashing the deck and that sort of thing, but no office work. I may get out and do something, but I don't know what. It's supposed to be unbearably hot here over the weekend, so we'll see.

I will say that I have Vista only on the computers that came with Vista when I bought them for the office. I have not upgraded the computers I already had. So, I didn't have any upgrade issues. I had a couple printer issues initially, but there was a patch a few days after I got the computer that was automatically downloaded

They know tomatoes were not the cause - everyone knows it. They do not KNOW the cause, therefore they may as well have said lettuce or cauliflower or squash or onions or anything else - and they, too, would have only been guesses. They behaved poorly, made a guess that turned out to be incorrect and has been acknowledged by everyone but themselves as to have been incorrect (tomatoes are suddenly perfectly fine to eat), and they cost an industry $200 million dollars. That makes them Idiots with a capital "I" in my book.

Since Jrand guessed it, and it's finally been guessed at the other site, it's one I'm very proud to announce - Mario Nascimbene's wonderful score to one of my all-time favorite guilty pleasures - Scent Of Mystery, a film I've written about extensively, both here and in Kritzer Time. In fact, I may use sections of Kritzer Time in the booklet. We went to the science museum, and they had an exhibit in Feel-o-Rama!

When the volcano was erupting, they turned on the heat lamps. When the wind was blowing, they turned on the fans. When the hurricane was blowing, they turned on the fans and the water dripper, etc.
