I don't know if the editing is to blame or whether what we saw was the kind of attitude he has been displaying consistently. Blayne commented on his attitude and made it clear something has been up with Keith. I think he took Daniel's departure rather hard, and he hasn't been very good since. His fashion sense the past two weeks has been crap. His defense of his work doesn't reassure me of his future.
All of that said, and I agree with the decision as to who should go home, I thought the designers pretty much stepped up and knocked their respective "balls" out of the park. Who knew they'd find any kind of inspiration in those materials. Once again, I have to say I think Korto was the creme de la creme of the designers, but I also agree with the judges' decisions to reward fine work from other designers. Korto is the best designer I've seen on the show in a long time...maybe ever. She has stiff competition, too, but I always think her designs are just a bit better. I'm glad she takes their praised gracefully and doesn't bitch like Christian did when he didn't win every time.
Oh, well. I've read some stuff Tim Gunn has said about this season. Primarily, he thinks the show is kind of boring. That might explain why he's less involved in critiquing them during the design phase. He has been vocally critical of Stella and her "leatha" fetish and her standard "that's what I do" phrase every time she gets an audience to listen. How funny last night that Leah did a dress that was right up Stella's alley, but Stella's outfit was kind of dull, dull, dull. Jerrell was on target, too, as was Terri. I think the three black designers -- Korto, Terri and Jerrell -- are interesting, unpredictable and generally very entertaining.
That's my story, and I'm sticking to it. Xldkkjj djkfjkjkakjldkj a;ldjf ;lkj k;jalkfj;lkjaoijhkljl;kjf;ljkdf;lakjsdg ;lkasjg 'lakjl;kjfsadlkjadf;lkajsdf;laksj ;laksj g;lkjsg;laskjf ;lskjf s;lk jasldkj choctaw dropjaw stockslaw slipscrawl.
