I will have to watch for the BBC production. I have read the books by Phillippa Gregory

I would love to see The Tudors...

I believe they are dead.

Instead I watched last night's GENERAL HOSPITAL: NIGHT SHIFT off SoapNet. Chad Allen is making the first of a three episode story-arc as a love interest for the gay intern on the staff. They did have obvious chemistry together, and I'll look forward to the next two episodes. Chad's character needs a liver transplant, and since his arc is only three episodes, he's either not going to get it, or he'll get it and it won't take. Either way, they're missing what could be a great, long term relationship.

Maybe he is going to get it, and then he won't care about the transplant!

I have never seen that option.  I wonder if any one else has it.

Can you prioritize your programs?  Then the favorite two should record first.

DR Jane, you can watch an over the air via rabbit ears because you aren't going through the DVR to get your programming that way.  I have been able to do this before, but my DVR wasn't "off" I was just watching over the air instead of "component 1" which is where my DVR comes into my TV

I dunno.  I don't read the boards (either).  As for the tour... Well...  It's mainly playing medium to small markets, so... -I mean, it opened in Providence, RI, last week.  It's also running under one of those "experimental" Equity Contracts.  I guess it's a good compromise for the producers and actors alike, however, with the way the contract is structured along with how the tour is being booked and managed, the actors will not be able to file for full unemployment benefits once the tour closes.  :-\

The tour is going to be in Des Moines.. you don't get much more cosmopolitan than that  ;)

Now I get it!  That is not possible for us, we must have our satellite in order to see the shows.  We can't watch any location stations, including the news.

I will be going out to LA as well, on the 23rd. I think it may only be a one day trip, but I hope there might be a way to have a little bit of time there to see friends and maybe have a little Ghengis Cohen!

That would depend on Mrs. Cohen.

I feel so bad. I was just visiting my niece. And when i tried to leave she had tears going down her cheek and she was grabbing my leg. :(

If i had not been with someone who needed to leave i would have stayed. It was so sad.

But i was not amused because said person said they needed to leave at 7:45pm, and that at 7:20pm announced "we're leaving now". And the best, "i never said we had to leave at 7:45pm". I hate people who do that!

DR RonP re: Fringe.

You can watch it on fox.com.

I also have problems sometimes with my tivo like system. I can record 2 shows and watch a 3rd that was already recorded. I can also record, or watch something via my VCR at the same time.

But i usually select things to record each week. So if occasionally a show gets added and they overlap the system just cancels one. Or sometimes it shows that something will record via my list. But if i go to my program guide it is not lit up in red. No red, no record.

On my Comcast DVR, I can record two different channels while watching one of them or I can actually watch third program that I've already recorded and is on the DVR hard drive.  But I can't record two programs and watch live TV.

This is exactly how mine works. Except i have the option of watching thru my vcr (and or recording there also).

re: last night's DANCING WITH THE STARS

Don't really think this is a spoiler.....I thinK Cloris Leachman will go home.  I think she should go home.  No I didn't think she was funny last night either.   I totally respect what she's doing with the dancing, but her attitude isn't funny to me at all and I think it's time for her to go.    DR Jennifer, don't think we're going to agree this season, but we are coming from different perspectives since you like to cheer for the pro and I look at the star.  It will be interesting to see where this goes.

I don't necessarily think we will agree this season. But i don't cheer for the pros over the celebs. I mean i go by the celeb. But there are certain pros i don't care for and certain ones i love. So for example last year julianne was with a bad dancer. I did'nt want him to win just because of her. Nor did i think he should win (he wasn't very good). But this year you can take someone i don't really know (cody) who has potential, but because he is paired with julianne i am more interested.

That's interesting that you didn't think cloris leachman was funny at all. I thought she was. And while i don't really care if she stays that long. I think it is quite something for her to do this at her age.
I think will go watch tonight's show now.

I am curious to know, and this not an Ask BK Day question, does anyone have any thoughts regarding Sen McCain's suspension of his campaign in order to focus on the Economy?

Is it a true suspension of his campaign?  or it more of a way to "avoid" the upcoming, scheduled debates?

I haven't followed this latest development that much - yet - but do you happen to know if he's called on Senator Obama to do the same thing?

He is either sincere or he is using it as an excuse not to debate.

I've been listening to Ron Paul.  I think in these scary economical times he, or someone with his knowledge, should have been McCain's VP pick.

I only wonder why Sen. McCain didn't first contact the Obama campaign and see about an across the board suspension of the campaign, so that both senators could have made a joint announcement and then both could have flown back to Washington.  Instead, it seems like McCain is just backing out of the debate.

According to CNN, McCain has suspended his political campaign until the bail out is approved in Congress.
