DR Jay - Thanks for the reminder about "Brideshead Revisited".  We had Brideshead parties when I was in high school.  -Yes, we were Ultr-Drama-Geeks!

George I’m very happy you are feeling so well, I also think I'm a wee bit jealous.   ;D Hope you like the house you will be sitting at.  Will you be pet sitting as well as house sitting?

Yes, they (Rita and Chuck) have one cat...and I forget her name.  She's an indoor/outdoor cat, so maintenance shouldn't be a problem.  And she's supposed to be very affectionate.  Rita couldn't find the cat, so I didn't get to see what she looks like.  But I'll find out Tuesday.  That's when I start.  They'll be gone until October 24th!!  That's a long time...but I'm trustworthy. ;) No, really I am! ;D

The Valley heat really wasn’t fun when I was pregnant and didn’t have air conditioning.  Little did I know at the time how much worse being pregnant during the summer in New Jersey would be.  Definitely not fond memories. ;D

Jose I sent you an email.  From what I hear I'm not surprised at all Barbara had generous praise for you.  :)

I just sold my old vacuum cleaner for $3!!  And it still had the old, filled vacuum bag inside it!

LOL! :) :D

I actually left it in for a reason!  I have no idea what kind of bags it takes, so I left it in so that the new owners would know.  I was trying to be helpful! ::)

Yes, I think Nick Nickleby qualifies as a mini-series...It was 8-odd hours, show over several nights and was a television event.

So we just walked down a few blocks to CPK, and had a nice lunch there.  -We were basically right around the corner from BK's new abode.

And two minutes from mine - with a big POOL right outside my door. You could've cooled off!

I'm on my way to the theater.  Keep the home fries burning and lovely thoughts in your lovely heads.  I'll be back after the show, but maybe not until after midnight, so the notes may be up late again.

I think the nights the notes go up late are lovely.

That means great memories are being made and good times are being had!

AND that we will get a FULL REPORT!

Hey all of us who are home on Saturday night....and we know who we are....let's look around the net and find interesting things to post about.....I found something on EBAY.  ;D

You can wash your baseball hat in the dishwasher and not have to worry about it losing its shape.  Guy Haines probably has one of these!  And it's only $6.52!!!

I don't wear baseball hats!

My friend MM does!
He's always wearing one on every pic they print of him!

Who's MM, you say?
You know! Not Mickey Mouse!

The only dusty things I like are .... spring fields! :)
And I like my Gere ... bent! :o

Tragique?
No!
Très chic, oui!

Oh, the men in white are here to get me!

I keep tellin them that it's a hat, it's a hat... but they don't believe me!

I need air....

Doesn't look like Kansas City anymore....
