Good Afternoon!

Well, the skies were blue here about 30 minutes ago... The overcast moved in very fast...  But I think I'll still go for a walk in a few.

There was something else I meant to mention, but...

I don't know, vixmom.  You didn't run to the telephone to tell me to hie me to Abercrombie and Fitch.

You're  right (looks down shamefacedly) that was very naughty of me,,,  :-[

you won't smite me or anything being you're a god now ...
BTW, do you demand sacrifice?

BK, what might be a fun way to deal with your What If? DVD dilemma (and I stress the word might) would be to institute the What If? International Tour.

This sort of goes along with what Jennifer suggested earlier:  get the mailing addresses of all the DRs who want to view the DVD, sort the list by HHW Member List order, send the DVD (along with the mailing list) to the name on the top of the list.  When a DR receives the DVD, they view it, cross off their name on the list, then send it off to the next name.  Eventually, everyone will get to see What If?

Of course, you'll still have all those other copies on your hands to do with and to give to whomever you really want.

Hungarian Mathematics. I start my 60th year today DR Panni. My 59th Birthday. Thank you for the greetings which I shall store throughout the coming year.
lol
SO SORRY, DR Tomovoz! I didn't mean to make you a year older. :P
As a matter of fact, I added the 60 after I had the whole thing ready to go. Wondered why no one else was doing it, as it's such a major milestone. ::)  Mea culpa.
BTW - Hungarian Mathematics would make you a year YOUNGER, not older. It would mean a stolen year. (You know the old joke... The Hungarian recipe for chicken soup: First you steal a chicken, then...)

Nineteen pages in a matter of hours.  I'll just keep my mouth shut and continue my apparently very slow-paced writing.

Oh, and darling Panni, you don't need anyone's vibes.  A straight jacket maybe, but vibes - no.  Not if you've written nineteen pages in a matter of mere hours.  I now return you to the real world.

Jrand's Christmas memory brought back memories of when every store had commercial artists who did renderings of the products for sale.  Ah, a gentler time!  Does commercial art like that even exist anymore?

As i knew it would be, my first day away from the show was too busy catching up on chores and things to get any DVDs watched! Perhaps tonight or definitely tomorrow. I don't plan to leave the house tomorrow, not even to pick up the new extended edition of LORD OF THE RINGS: RETURN OF THE KING. I'll get it either Wednesday or Thursday.

We're plunging into the high teen/lower 20s tonight here, so it looks like winter is finally fast approaching. (Last week, we had three days in the 70s.)

Okay one more idea for the dvds.  If you have 10, and really want to GIVE some for people to keep, then give out 8 of them.  But for the other 2, rotate them to the people who really want to see them (like what Dan wrote).   I know I really want to see this, and if you don't want any additional copies made, this is the only solution I can think of so that everyone who really wants to see it can view it.

And it's about time, too!  I didn't move all the way to the East Coast so I could live in balmy weather!  I could have stayed where I was for that!  Bring on the inclemency, dang it!!!

Good Afternoon!

Back from my walk.  And a nice walk it was.  Yes, it was/is cold outside, but the layers helped.  -It actually felt warmer as I walking back from the grocery store, I guess I was warmed up by then.  *Oh, and whilst at the grocery store I "noticed" that the Pepperidge Farm cookies were on sale... As were the Archway Holiday Cookies (Cashew Nougats)... As were the Cheez-Its... As were the Ben & Jerry's and Edy's Dreamery...  Oh, but I did also pick up some Kleenex too since we were out - and, yes, those were on sale too!

Oh, and darling bk, you know very well that I'm RE-writing a draft, which means that I'm not starting from the blank page. So 19 pages (now more) is not that impossible. I now return YOU to the real world.

OH! OH! OH!

Right before I headed out for my walk, my sister-in-law, Veronica, called me.  She had just gotten home from the hospital where she was visiting my Dad.  The surgery went very well, and she said he's just resting and recovering and sleeping now  - apparently, a bit drugged up still too.  ;)

And it looks like he might get discharged as early as tomorrow!  Wednesday at the latest!

Thanks again for the Vibes!

OK... Time for me to head out to dinner...

My friend, Mark, called me earlier, and I thought he said to call him at 6:00, and we would decide where to eat from there.  Well, I just called him and said he was already "inside".  Inside where?  He's already at Strawberry Street Cafe - it's 1/2 price burger and quiche night.  Well, I was thinking of heading over to Joe's or even giving Three Monkeys a try (they just opened around the corner)...  Strawberry Street it is then!
