I finally heard from the pool cleaner man, who was not happy that the powers that be had called him and berated him for not showing up.  Apparently, he didn't get my message this morning, which I find just a wee bit peculiar.  In any case, if it's not raining tomorrow (which hopefully it won't be) he'll be here in the morning to make both pool and Jacuzzi pretty as Daisy Mae.

DR SWW - So.. Making anything special for dinner tonight?  ;)

Glad to know that DerB is doing well.  Losing one's footing on a set of stairs... yikes!
I'm not sure.  Maybe tonkatsu.  And I'll make sure he knows about the well-wishings and vibes.

Jose, you wouldn't be where you are today without your incredible fingering AND embouchure.   ;)

Michael, I've seen some of the mugs and pitchers on  e-bay but haven't gotten one yet.  Yes, you can finad anything on e-bay---- no matter how bizarre or far fetched.

Moving on...

Time to head back in for the evening show.  Apparently, there will be some more school groups in the audience tonight.  There's one political joke that the actress who delivers it usually had to hold for - she's gotten both applause and boo's.  Whenever we have a bunch of students, the tech people place bets on whether or not the students will react to the joke or not.  ...And talk about an awkard moment of silence when they do not react...

I don't know.

I've have no experience at being berated for expressing my lack of feelings about a chunk of compressed wood.

What seems to be the case, though, is that "it" is more important than our rights to have an opinion about it...or to express those opinions moderately without someone's feelings being hurt.

I still maintain I've said nothing intentionally hurtful about "anyone" living and breathing.  I can't say the same about reactions to the opinions, though.

Jennifer - The What If DVD has arrived at Ann's today!  I was going to leave today, as she is certainly able to fend for herself at this point, but now that there's some viewing entertainment to enjoy... I think she may just get an extra day before she's left to her own devices. :D

DR Charles Pogue mentioned that he would not be returning to American Idol's audition shows.  For some reason last night they hardly showed any really bad singers.  Instead they showed a bunch of pretty good ones who for some reason the judges didn't send to Hollywood.

The most interesting was probably a set of twins.  They said THEY MADE THEM sing together.  And I thought they were both good.  Anyhow Paul and Randy both wanted to take them to the next round.  But Simon and guest judge both were against them.  So no go.

Although on tonight's Las Vegas American Idol preview, one of the twins COMES BACK.  And since they are in a new city and there is a new guest judge I think he will make it. :)

DR Jane, please don't be upset.

Freakies?

LOL! yep. For the longest time my mom refused to buy that cereal for me because of the name...but she eventually gave in...it tasted like Capt. Crunch...but then along came Fruity Freakies (my fave) and Chocolate Freakies of some sort. Then they disappeared until sometime in the late 1980s when they showed back up on the store shelfs in a new, and rather twisted, variation that did not appeal to m.

You're wrong, Kimmel, I was trying to be evil. Despicably evil! No, Evil, with a capital E.  No, EVIL!  All in caps!  It's all a part of my FOWL plan of world domination! You're all doomed! Nyah..ah...ah!

*sigh*

We are having our house re-roofed. Yesterday they took off the old roof. Today it poured. And I now have a leak in my kitchen. And water coming in under the patio door onto the wood floor.

Anyone who is anyone knows that world domination starts here.  We have already taken over the Internet, for soon we shall be the most popular site on all the Internet.  The World is next.  The World is a Circle.

BK question for the day:

Of the 3 actresses in the 3 Black Lagoon Creature movies, who did you like best...Julia Adams, Lori Nelson, Leigh Snowden.

And of the one you pick, what other films or television performances of hers have you seen and enjoyed or not enjoyed.

All can answer!

Lori Nelson married and divorced Johnny Mann of The Johnny Mann Singers.

Leigh Snowden married and widowed Dick Contino who played a mean accordion.

Julie Adams married and divorced Ray Danton.

And that's what I know about them.  My favorite is Lori Nelson!

Ok, I will start...Lori Nelson in REVENGE OF THE CREATURE...I never much cared for Julia Adams for some reason.

And I loved Lori in TUMBLEWEED (with Audie Murphy and ALL I DESIRE (with Barbara Stanwyck).

Leigh Snowden was good, and I have liked her in several movies...favorite being I'VE LIVED BEFORE...which I would love to see come out on DVD.
