Oh, yeah - I hate John Pleshette and Jeff Corey.  Now I remember.

This amused me.  :D

I used to have one of those phones that vibrate.  One evening I called myself ten times.
All right, I'll bite ...

In which pocket did you keep that phone?

Here's a question for anyone who uses IMDB. For the past few weeks if you go to search someone or some movie, the button you click on no longer says "Go" or "Search, " but rather it says, "Sul."

What does this mean?

I watched the rest of BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY'S when I returned to the home theater. Then, I watched the documentary about the making of the film and also listened to some of the commentary.

The producer stupidly said that singing "Moon River" was the first time Audrey had sung in a film. Obviously, he knew nothing about FUNNY FACE.

ALIAS was a trifle better than the previous two weeks' shows were, but that's not saying much.

We've seen Sydney Bristow kick hugely muscled bodyguards and trained combatants for five years now, and yet we're supposed to believe she was at the mercy of Arvin Sloane's choke hold and had to be rescued by her husband? Rubbish!

LOST used an unusual kind of flashback tonight instead of the usual backstory, and it was just wonderful. Of course, SO many more mysteries opened up from what we were shown, but the show continues to be amazing.

And how cruel was that ending of INVASION, especially merciless knowing the show will leave us forever hanging. . . .

As for IDOL - - - -

I quite enjoyed the show tonight, especially the very touching recap of Elliott's Richmond reunion, and you could see it was not something he took for granted.

Of course, I didn't enjoy the results. When I saw how close the vote totals were, I had a tiny, thin ray of hope that something wonderful might be happening, but such was not the case.

I would still read the book, Dan.  It is a great work of fiction.

I do plan on reading it.  It's just that I was going to rush through it this weekend before I saw the movie.

It still says "Go" on my browser, DR Rodz.  Are you experiencing resolution issues?

Someone ordered a couple of CDs on the 9th.  Yesterday I get an e-mail asking me where they are.  Now, I don't know if it's just this generation, but a week isn't a long time to wait for something, is it?  I shipped out on the 12th, three days after the order came in.  This is all new, of course, and thanks to amazon.  In days of olde, it was always two to four weeks.

I figure 10 to 15 days is quite good... I have seen far worse time lengths from places like Amazon, Target and one local business that shall remain nameless....

There's a new cell phone wrinkle.  Now people don't have to turn them off - they can put them on "vibrate" - I've now sat near people on several recent occasions where they open their stupid cell phones to see who's vibrating them, and of course these cells all light up when they do so, which is almost as distracting as it ringing - and then some of these mongoloids TEXT MESSAGE their idiot pals while they're sitting there in the audience.  I kid you not, Virginia.

Sadly I see that all the time at work. I do not even get up when the come to the desk yapping on their cell. I find it quite rude when they do that. To me when you come to the desk you should be ready for prompt service. I find cells to be very rude and I have kicked a number of people out due to loud conversations on their cells.

Back from rehearsal, supper, and rehearsal.  I'm zonked and I have to once again be up quite early for tomorrow's class.  We spent most of the afternoon with the pianist, going over songs and making sure he's comfortable playing everything.  It's starting to sound good.  After dinner, Tammy rehearsed with the fellow she plays opposite - it's the first time I've had to do actual work with the actors and in twenty minutes I was able to get Tammy to understand exactly how to play hers, and the fellow is coming along, too, now that he gets what I need.
