LESS THAN PERFECT is using the last few episodes to establish new relationships among the cast, some of whom have fought for years on the show. Looks like the show is going out with a smile on its face.

RESCUE ME came back to TV tonight also establishing a bunch of new relationships from the ashes of broken ones at the end of last season.

And next week, Susan Sarandon begins a three episode arc on the show. Love her and can't wait to see her interacting with the fellas.

Well, it's very muggy here, so I'm going to log off and see about putting myself to bed.

Good night!

I guess it's been mentioned as a rumor, but now it's official that Rebecca Luker will be playing Mrs. Banks in MARY POPPINS starting this fall!!!

That's awesome, what a great role for her!

Ahhh, what great cats!  I held a couple little black kittens at the shelter today.  I didn't fall in love with any of the kittens, and Callie seems a little depressed today, so I think it's too soon. But it's still fun to look.

It sounds like it isn't quite the right time yet, but I bet the day that you click with a kitten will be the day that Callie is ready for a new friend.

Beautiful view in the living room, TPunk.  By the way, have you read "There's a Boy in the Girl's Bathroom" yet?

Not yet, but it is on my wish list at B&N.  I will get it the next time I place an order large enough to qualify for free same day shipping.

Susan is not only a beautiful and incredibly talented actress, but she is one of the most down-to-earth people I have ever met.

At this moment I am multi-tasking...I am petting a purring Freddy who is sitting in my lap while I peruse and post on HHW and at the same time am converting my VHS tape of JAPANESE WAR BRIDE from VHS to DVD.

I just love this movie, ever since I first saw it on the late, late, late show years ago!

And since nobody seems willing to release it on DVD, I will just have to do it myself.

I feel very odd.  My equilibrium is off and I feel like I'm going to fall over when I walk.  I don't think it's the Subway sandwich, but who knows.  The only other thing I've eaten was a package of trail mix (you know, dried fruit, peanuts, that sort of thing) from the local liquor store.
