Always fall asleep during FANTASIA...always!  Original or 2000...doesn't matter.

Wasn't Lauren Bacall in that?  ???
I think she was named "woman of the year" for her performance as the Wicked Witch who made clothing from the drapes.

Come to think of it, I may have dozed off during part of FANTASIA 2000 at the IMAX.

"Empire Of The Son".  I wanted to put the kid out of his misery. Can't remember his acting, I just loathed the film so much.

Of course I didn't think much of E.T. either.

It may say more about me than the films.. LOL.

But then I thought Haley Joel Osment was wonderful in the Sixth Sense, "A.I." and "Pay It Forward",

I even liked Helen Hunt's performance  in "Pay It Forward". Much better than "As Good As It Gets" in which she was IMHO very much her TV persona.

No, no! Empire of the Sun!

Empire of the Son.... I don't like either!! ;) :D

A neighbor is blasting Billy Joel music. I'm not a fan, as those who know me can attest. And yet, I find it more odd than annoying that someone would choose to blast "Keeping the Faith" and "An Innocent Man." Beats reggaeton, I guess.

That's right!  I keep forgetting that part.  And didn't Lisa Kirk do her singing for her?  8)

This evening, my friends are COMING down... It will be a nice change to get away from the house, and they have a HUGE car, which will make it easier to get IN and OUT of the car.

You can't help talking dirty, can you!! ;) ;) ;D

Gregg Henry brings a nice sense of menace to his roles. I wonder if he has ever played a good guy.

That's where my pal Penny Peyser and Gregg met - on Rich Man, Poor Man - she was a regular, as was her then-husband James Carroll Jordan.

Only twenty-five copies of the signed Deceit left.

Was Lisa Kirk the voice in "Tipsy"? Or was that the film with Lee Remmick and Jack Lemmon.

I know a trivia question about that....sort of.

Since I am not seeing the Bollywood movie in Portland my Bollywood DVD will be...

SHARAFAT (1970) starring Dharmendra as a handsome college professor who falls in love with a dance hall girl played by Hema Melina. Scandal and songs ensue.

Any interest in the world cup, Tomovoz? With your team doing pretty well so far? I don't really ever follow soccer, but I can follow it once every four years. I like the different nations competing. Like how often do you even hear Ghana mentioned for any reason?

Even more since Shirley Temple is not ambassador there anymore!

Well, that won't help DR TPunk's migraine at all!  Feel better vibes to her.

I fell asleep at one of the new Star Wars movies...can't remember which one...it had that stupid goofy creature in it and some battles scenes...I missed about 20 minutes of the movie...but I don't think I really missed anything.

DR François is missing! He had trouble with HHW yesterday I think and also problems with his email carrier.  Perhaps he is watching "Empire of The Sun".
A French Frenzy is called for.

No, I was just jabbing along with friendly guests at the hotel and we were trying to, as we say in French, "redo the World"!!

Does anyone remember that TV show of the 70's: 3, Girls,3?

I don't know why I am just thinking about it!

Incisive vibes for DR TCB.

DR MATTH - how could I forget Mr Burton in WHO'S AFRAID OF V.W.?

And so many others mentioned by astute DR's here at HHW.

Of course one of my favorites is MR BK as John Smithee in THE FIRST NUDIE MUSICAL....especially when he demonstrates his own brand of choreography....

First Nudie what????

NEVER heard about it! :o :D 8)
