I finished THE GENERAL'S DAUGHTER tonight. The transfer continued to astonish in its clarity and richness of color. This could truly be a reference quality DVD in terms of the video transfer.

I had also forgotten the identity of the killer. I thought I had remembered who killed the title character, but it was not that person I had in mind, so the ending was a nice surprise.

I then watched the last episode on disc 2 of THE WILD WILD WEST. More prime beefcake of Robert Conrad, and he took part in some impressive kung fu moves.

There was a special feature on the disc, an audio interview with one of the show's producers who said he came on board THE WILD WILD WEST because he found Robert Horton impossible to deal with on his series A MAN CALLED SHENANDOAH, and that even though friends had warned him Robert Conrad would be equally difficult to work with, he found him just the opposite: the hardest working, most professional, and most prepared actor he'd ever worked with.

THE CLOSER had a good episode with Brenda doing her usual ace interrogations, and then the scenes with Frances Sternhagen were simply priceless.

Finished the evening with the CSI: MIAMI rerun in HD. Colorful with lots of action, but not one of the show's better efforts this season.

They have been illegal here since long before Iwas born yet every year we are "treated" to days and nights of loud explosions.... the night of the 4th looks like the close of all the Disneys parks put togther.... which would be great from a safe distance... but when the debris all ends up in the pool and the gutters and the lawn  and the cars.....blecch!!!!!!

WE can buy them in ND but you can shoot them in MN

Ironically in Duluth, MN... A lot of houses do not have AC due to being on the shores of Lake Superior. Temperatures thre are sometimes 20 degress cooler than in FArgo.
