I'm always tempted to eat everything in the house, which is why I never keep food in the house.

DR DearReaderLaura - Sorry to hear about your loss.  I hope that even though today was filled with sadness, that there were also moments of joy and happiness in remembrance.

DR elmore - Thank you for inviting me to be your guest earlier tonight at The Lieutenant of Inishmore.  I sort of knew what to expect, but I'm glad my expectations were exceeded.

And, as always, your company was sparkling and lively.  :)

DR MBarnum - Well, I do have to make a Duane Reade run tomorrow, so I shall see if I can find that Bollywood movie that DR Rodzinksi mentioned.  -And, actually, I believe I have a $5.00-off Duane Reade coupon to use up too, so...  ;)

Oh, and I played another round of auditions today for a couple of show in the upcoming New York Music Theatre Festival (NYMF)...

To paraphrase Shakespeare... "Kill all the actors!"

;D

*It was, overall, a good day, but I was just amazed - and annoyed!!!! - at some of the actors and actresses who came back today for this round and still had the same "issues" with their sheet music that they had yesterday.  Even I will admit to getting a little snippy and bitchy with some people towards the end of the day.  "I told you yesterday to put it in a binder!"

Just breathe... Count backwards from 10... 9... 8... 7...

I want a cherry on a sundae, but I'm afraid I've been bad, what with the french fries and all.

Well, if you just eat the cherry...  ;)

I am tempted to eat everything in the house, I wonder if it's the weather that's making me feel that way.

Well.. On the way back from the Lyceum, I went ahead and stopped into Amy's Breads on Ninth Avenue... I was just in the mood for a cookie or something else sweet.  Well, since I had no cash on me, and they prefer that credit card purchases be a minimum of $10.00... Well...  I enjoyed one of the Cinnamon Raisin Twists earlier.  And tomorrow, I will be enjoying a Sticky Bun for breakfast, a Chocolate-Walnut brownie with my lunch, and a Coconut Dream bar with my dinner.

Yeah... It must have been the pending storm.  What with the wind picking up as I was walking up to Columbus Circle...  Yeah... that's what it was.

BK, here is a website of Diane Franklin...she had a fair career back in the 80s..quite a cutie...and just sooooo evil in SUMMER GIRL! Alas it is not on DVD or even VHS.

OOHH!!!  I do remember her from a bunch of TV movies and after school specials too (I believe).  She really was quite prolific during the 80's.

I must go sit with Boo awhile. No news from her potential new home tonight.  At least I know they are seriously considering it.  This is so hard, but Callie is being more stubborn than I am, and I'm known for being very stubborn.

Thank you, folks. My friend's parents were driving on a country road, and a motorcyclist driving an estimated 130 mph lost control and hit the elderly folks' car head on. The woman was killed and the old man's neck was broken, but he survived.

Scarlet Street is actually folding operations and will have only 2 more issues, so subscriptions are no more.

Yow! That doesn't bode well for you getting paid, I guess.

But I hope those guys are doing okay.

I had some fun viewing experiences this evening. I started with KISS KISS, BANG BANG. I saw it at the theater at liked it, but I think I enjoyed it mroe on DVD probably since I wasn't trying so hard to keep all the corpses and convoluted mystery straight in my mind. And I got to go back and enjoy some of the rapid-fire dialog again. A fun revisit.

The DVD in question is only $5.99. Now, it has an Anglo title, so you have to look a bit, but it has a mostly white case, and a pictures of a giant-like guy and some little people. The text and credits indicate an Indian or Pakistani film. There is one rack stuffed with DVDs in the place. Hopefully it is still there.

Next came the Hercule Poirot mystery MURDER ON THE LINKS. Had read the book, of course, and had seen this years ago, but I didn't remember anything about it. And when the time came for the revelation of the murderer, well, I was in the right family but the wrong person. Close, but no cigar.

And I finished up the evening with RESCUE ME. Lots of sexual situations in this week's show plus one funny prank with a bar owner's car. Entertaining episode.
