So tired... I picked up my nephew at the airport, and dropped him at his soon-to-be-ex-apartment. Then I drove over to my mountain-neighbors' Seattle house... I started helping the lady fill in disability papers she has been unable to face since being diagnosed a few months ago with Parkinson's Disease. I must say, she looked a world better yesterday up here in the woods than she did last summer... I thought she had leukemia or worse. Parkinson's isn't as bad as what the rest of us were imagining, especially since she is now medicated for it! Anyhow, it was a grueling two hours, more for her than for me, and finally I stopped and said I'd come back and do more of it on Wednesday. Sometimes I forget how incredibly, magically lucky I have been all my life. Today, I remember.
