And one for ME.  An entire page of one person - I think that's a first for haineshisway.com and I'm glad it was ME.  Now, what if I do six more pages of ME?  That would be most amusing for all the WUSSBURGERS to wake up and find THAT!

Do you really want an answer to that question?

...Although, in my "hey day" - "hay day" ??? - as it were, I believe I came pretty close a few times to a page of just me.

I think.

Maybe so.  Maybe not.

Oh... I guess this could be a question for Ask BK Day... And pardon me if this was discussed during my period of errant-and-truantness...

From the past couple weeks of Broadway Grosses... What's the deal with the average ticket price for Jersey Boys being in the $120-5 range?!?  Just how many of those premium seats are they selling?  And for how much?

Morning to all!

Tomorrow I shall have to drive to work so I won't be able to post from the bus.  Just thought I'd let ya'll know that.

So far the New Year has been peaceful.  Let's hope that keeps up.

I take Bear to the vet tonight to have his stitchs taken out of his ear and his leg.  I know that's going to cost at least another hundred.  Sigh.

I dreamed that the bus had a ledge by the window for me to put my arm on and when I woke up, I had my arm on Sheena's back!

She and Bear had another fight last night.  I don't know what is causing this.  This time it was over the bed.  They know that I let them both up with me, they don't have to fight about it.  Sigh.

Good morning, all!  And a special one to DR Danise.  This is wednesday, and I believe tonight is the first airing of THE KNIGHTS OF PROSPERITY, which features my friend Josh Grisetti.

I've forced myself out of bed at 6:30 and I've spent the last hour emptying files of email.  I will soon head to the recording office for a morning of Toyland edits.

DR Jose, I should be around after 4:00 pm.  I'm happy that you are back in New York.

Re: last night's question about THE BRAIN cd and whether to include the lyrics or the pictures.

My first reaction was to include lyrics.  But I see everyone else's first reaction was to include pictures.

So last night I went through some cast recordings trying to see what i really liked and what bothered me.

I think a synopsis is vital.  And i prefer having the track listings on the back of the cd.  But I noticed that there were some cds with pictures and no lyrics and some cds with lyrics and only one picture.

And after thinking about it I really like having the lyrics in the booklet to follow along.

I do think the idea of having the lyrics on the website is a good one (if the picture in the cd booklet idea is used).  And it sounds like it's already been decided. I just wanted to give my 2 cents.

It's not as easy to keep the lyrics with the cd if you have to print them out (i've done that before).  So i would actually do the reverse (have the lyrics in the cd booklet and the pictures on the website).

This has me curious now what other cast recordings freaks would choose.

DR MattH, yes it appears that MEDIUM is new tonight. I did not know this.  The funny thing is that when i went to nbc.com the discription actually sounds similar to another episode from this year.

Description of jan 3rd show:
WHEN A MOTHER AND DAUGHTER ARE MURDERED, ALLISON AND ARIEL EXPERIENCE VISIONS OF THE CRIME, BUT FROM DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVES -- After Allison (Emmy winner and Golden Globe nominee Patricia Arquette) and Ariel (Sofia Vassilieva) stumble upon the bodies of a dress shop owner and her daughter, they both begin dreaming about the crime, but from different perspectives, revealing two suspects. Maria Lark, David Cubitt and Madison Carabello also star.

Since Bk was just on a frenzy, my question for Ask BK Day, if anyone's game or cares  :) :

Have you ever gotten on a tear about something on the internet that in retrospect you wish you could go back and delete, but there it is for posterity?  (Similarly, or alternatively, have you ever left a message for somebody that you wish you could have taken back, even before the person got it?)

One of mine is when I posted bitterly on the internet about the scandalous seating situation at a play that i really wanted to see, only to get an email from the significant other of a friend saying he was a lead producer on that show.  Tried to go back and delete my message board postings, but to no avail.

Years ago, when I was in Washington DC....I bought a copy of FilmFax magazine at the Union Station bookstore to read on the plane on the way home.  An article about the life of Barbara Payton was in it (I think it is on the FilmFax website as well)....yes....sad story.

I always liked her in DRUMS OF THE SOUTH directed by William Cameron Menzies and featuring many Henry Willson clients including Guy Madison and Craig Stevens.

Wednesday morning greetings!  I'm back at work today - not feeling 100%, but not feeling bad enough to justify another day at home.

I did not sleep well last night; I kept waking up and finding myself feeling cold. I thought I might be coming down with something, but, no, it was just one of those nights where I didn't sleep the night through without waking.

Our local TV critic gave THE KNIGHTS of PROSPERITY a very positive review this morning. Ordinarily, that would make me tune the show out since that reviewer and I don't see eye-to-eye on very many things, but in deference to DR Elmore, I will give the show a try tonight.

Also, there's nothing else on at that hour that I particularly want to see anyway, so why not try something new. The cast looks like a lot of fun.

As for the rest of my viewing today, I will finish the CSI episodes on disc 5 currently in the player (there are two left to watch).

Then, I'll switch to a feature film. It may be THE LOVED ONE, another CHristmas present, and a film I haven't seen in a long, long time.

Mr. Guy Haines has made it across the pond! I am listening to Elaine Paige's weekly show music radio program and she just played Michelle Nicastro and Guy singing Be a Santa from subways are for Sleeping which was on A Broadway Christmas, produced by BK

A friend of mine (we did INTO THE WOODS together) did an Off-Broadway revival of FLAHOOLEY several years ago. I'm not sure if it was just a few performances or had a run, but it was music directed by Sondheim's friend Peter E. Jones.

She knew nothing about FLAHOOLEY but called me up and asked that I burn her a copy of the old cast recording. (The Angel CD was out of print by that time.)
