Finished the motion picture which was completely depressing as are many of Mr. de Sica's films.

BK, Amazon.com is very strange... there are many, many items not yet released and up for pre-order that already have reviews or at least have the button to "be the first to review this item."

And many of these "items" are releasing the same day as The Brain....

Simply Sondheim got a shockingly good review from The Sondheim Review.  They even liked Guy Haines, although the reviewer found the Bolero-like arrangement strange.  Note to reviewer - the arrangement is a march.

Well, we've passed three hundred so thus far there has only been one day in February under three hundred postings - isn't that amazing?  If this month weren't three stupid days shorter than last month, we'd undoubtedly achieve a new record.  Maybe we'll just show February and achieve one anyway.

I know.  I think other items may have been out, however, in other formats, and that must make a difference.  Well, next Tuesday will be here very quickly.

Just read through what I wrote and I liked it - made some changes as I went along, and smoothed it out, but it wasn't dry (the research part) and it read well.  Now I have to decide if I end this chapter with the lline I just wrote or make it a longer chapter.  I'll figure that out tomorrow.

Just had a nice e-mail from one of the producers who I sent the Brain script to (he already had the CD and loved it) - while he said he didn't have time to write a huge drawn out letter, he read it, he loved it, and he wants in.  Now I have to figure out the next step - have to know a bit more about him (I know he's done a couple of these NYMF shows) and see what he thinks a good course of action would be.  So, who knows, I guess NYMF this year might be a possibility.  Or maybe something even better.

They're dropping like flies.  They sit here like so much fish, then leave without so much as a post.

Tonight's AI: The Women:

I loved four of them....the first one to sing, whose name I forget...then  Melinda Dolittle, Gina Glocksen, and LaKisha Jones.  They were the powerhouse voices.

The rest were okay...better than almost all the men, IMO, but as Simon suggested, they can buy 23 tickets home if LaKisha continues to sing as she did tonight.

Tonight's "Lost":  I found it rather interesting, actually.  I very much like Jack and was intrigued with how he got his tattoos and what they mean.

I'm more mystified than ever over "who" the Others actually think they are and just what the frell is going on.

Previews for next week looked very interesting, yet gave nothing away that I could tell...other than that some daring things will be attempted.

I don't take requests.

And I don't play by ear.

So...
