Oh dear.... I think this was a good example of having the wrong voice for the material... and I like James Taylor on many things.  But this was a ballad, with a sustained line...... not pretty with his voice.

If there is any justice, the Newman song will win - the only REAL song in the bunch - simple, to the point, and classic song structure.  However, there probably won't be justice.  We shall see.
