Last years nominees were pretty pathetic to say the least

Also missing a release is the song from "Casino Royale".

I think you'll have to buy the "single" for Etheridge, Tom.

I don't believe "An Inconvenient Truth" will have a soundtrack.

I am very glad that Helen Mirren won... She is such a classy actress

Well, she's been on a magazine cover that would be banned in your library!

Good Morning!

Yes, it's snowing in New York City!

And, No, the road crew have not yet started salting and plowing the streets, so...

Yes, by the time my cab slid through it's second light... :-\

Yes, I hopped on the subway...

Alas, since the Oscars ran much longer than anyone expected there really wasn't much of a post-Oscar party since the bar was still planning on closing at it's regular time, so...

Yes, I am back home.

Safe and sound.

I love the song from "Cars".  But then I do have a bias towards Randy Newman as a songwriter.

You're right - it's the guy in Philadelphia!

Tomovoz....I have to tell you, if you aren't here during all the posting frenzy during the show, it's totally NOT worth going back and reading everything.

Folks were posting on impulse.  Some of it funny, some of it dishy...and a little of it went into areas best left unexamined.
