Well, I must be leaving now.  It's not your fault...it's Jose's! ;) But just so that he doesn't get a complex, here's a title that I just happened to order for the library where I work:

DRLaura-That man is very lucky you didn’t call the police.  I hope you don’t have to see him again.  It is so kind of you to take care of the cats.  I’m a big supporter of spay/neuter & release.

Cilla-Do you normally go such long stretches before seeing your boss in person or did I miss something?

His office is about 200 miles from here. Unless there is something going on, we only see him every month or two

And now, I must get my reheated home-made macaroni and cheese and my diet Pepsi so that 1) my macaroni and cheese doesn't burn, and 2) I can eat it while I'm watching "Heroes!" ;)

I'M A GOON!  "Heroes" doesn't start at 8:00 p.m. ::) Dopey me.  Anyway, "How I Met Your Mother" does start in a few minutes, so I'll watch that and "The Class" until "Heroes" starts at 9:00.

I began my evening with ONE NIGHT IN RIO from the Alice Faye boxed set. Another of those Fox stories that they made and remade so often. The transfer is excellent with superb Technicolor and a very sharp and clear picture. I only saw one brief moment when it looked like there might be registration problems with the three strip Technicolor. The rest was gorgeous.

I also watched the special features on the disc: a featurette on Alice's career after she walked out on her Fox contract.

There was also an outtake musical number, and, as usual in their boxed sets, a restoration comparison with all the films in the box in brief before-after comparisons

THE CLASS had some good funny lines from Jesse Tyler Ferguson tonight, and I was sad to see that there's only one episode left of the show which almost certainly won't get picked up for next season.

The show took all of these episodes to finally find its footing, and now it's going off. Sad.

'24' had a more subdued episode this week, neccessarily so they could build some tension with several new storylines that have just begun. There was a big explosion at the very end of the hour, but that set up the cliffhanger for this week.

I called 911, Jane -- while the rifle was pointed at me. The SWAT team was there several hours before they convinced him to surrender.

I loved HEROES tonight because they gave us some very informative and VERY surprising flashbacks.

Yep, a lot of the heroes did have a week off, but that's OK because what we saw was quite involving and very exciting. I wish Matt and H.R.G. could have worked together longer. They made a good team.
