I fell like I am in a bottle or a Battle today.  Lots of people looking and buying a little here and there.

Good Afternoon!

I'm still here...

I started a little bit of this, then a little bit of that...  Then about an hour or so later...

I'm still here.

However, I still do see some sunlight outside, so...

TOD:
I can see that most H/Ks aren't exactly lovers of camping. I'm not, either, although I did go backpacking once in the Sierras and I enjoyed it. I think that one trip completely satisfied any desire I had for such an experience.

Several times I drove up to Yosemite, but stayed in a comfy cabin. Much more my sort of thing. I love the scenery and I even saw a bear--that was the highlight of the trip.

I used to enjoy a certain amount of hiking, but now walks are just fine.

François, I hope there is a special place in hell reserved for Miss Ann Coulter.

A place in hell?
Golly, she's HELL herself! She's already there!
I don't know but , here, she would NOT get away with what she said recently! You know, the "F." insult! You'd think you're back to the sixties in the U.S.! Well, maybe you are!

A political analyst?! My *rse! She's ugly inside and out and... we should not even waste our time talking about her!
She has to be a VERY unhappy person!

Pardon me when I go vomit on the ground!

Here's a riding story that I don't think BK has ever heard. When I was in high school, my friend Lulu (Lolo in KRITZER TIME) wanted to go horseback riding. I don't think she'd ever been on a horse, but I certainly had; I'd had riding lessons as a little tyke. She didn't have any serious problems with her horse, surprisingly. But I soon had a problem: I was wearing a pair of stretch denim jeans, which started to split at the seams. And split, and split, and split. There was really nothing I could do to stop them. We were riding along a freeway, no less. All I could do was ride back to where we started, return the horse, and get into Lulu's car. We both had a nice ride (aside from my profound embarrassment), and fortunately, we got back home without incident (unusual given I was with Lulu). Of course, I felt quite mortified at the time.

Ah, yes, but was that strictly camping? OK, we'll say that DER BRUCER loved his camping. Happy?

Well, occasionally some discipline was involved :-X

Despite my thespian tendencies, I was rather shy in high school. Lulu was the one who loved attention. BK can back me up there--he even mentioned that in KRITZER TIME. Now, if it had been Lulu's pants that had split, I might have been suspicious! That girl would do anything!

(Lulu, you're not one of our HHW lurkers, are you?? No, Lulu wouldn't lurk for long. She'd be here, front and center!)

I had a fun time backpacking in high school. I recently found my little box of memorabilia. I picked up a little something every time the Hiking Club went on a hike. I thought about decluttering it, but I decided that it took up so little room that it was ok to keep. It sits on my dresser.

I've done a few errands, and have written close to two pages.  I've got to go out again in a little while, and then I'll spend the rest of the afternoon writing.

She was a nice lady. You can probably find her in the archives. I have no idea if Lulu was her real name.

Howard Dean Demands GOP Candidates Denounce Ann Coulter for Referring to John Edwards as a 'Faggot'

Well, I guess you can print what you shouldn't say.

der Brucer

Well, the F word is with quotation marks  because it's a quote, even though "she" said she could not say it (Well, she says "comments" and that insult does not count as "comments" in my book! What has that to do with a political analysis?) while saying it altogether! Which is a "clever" way of insulting cheaply people! But... she's a "political analyst" and, of course, there's "anal" in "analyst"!

Hin all, back for a few minutes before I head over to Fred and Skip's place.

SPRING AWAKENING....I can't say that I loved it.   Being on stage was fun, I don't feel like I missed anything and my seat was in a place where the seat in front of me was often occupied by a cast member, the seat behind me was a cast member and two seats down from me was a cast member. So when they were singing harmony it was really a pleasant experience.

Duncan Sheik played the guitar for the performance, so he was about 6 feet from my chair.

Jonathan Groff cannot sing a line with out spewing out a raft of spit. I'm really not trying to be rude, but it got distracting after awhile and I was trying to find a time when he sang without seeing water droplets...didn't happen.

I guess if I was in that teen/twenty range with the angst etc I would have liked it more. I enjoyed most of the songs.  I can't say I'd go again.  Now the girl sitting next to me was there for the 45th time.  Of course she saw Urinetown 200 times and Wedding Singer 140 times, so... the funny thing is she said she had never talked to cast members and has never stood by a stage door because she isn't that sort of person...interesting
