Cilla-Thank you.  We hope we won’t need to take x-rays.

Singdaw-Do you have any pets?  I’m sorry if you mentioned any & I missed it.

One of these days, we need to all do a pet update -- photos and names of all our pets.

George, I think they should make you an honorary member of The Red Hat Society.

;D I think I got my hat at Disneyland in 1990...or sometime around there.

LOL-While not as proportionately as large, he still has big paws.  It is fun for me to look at the baby photo, they grow up so quickly. ;D

Or we could do a match the person to the pet's name and see who can do it the best.

Singdaw-Do you have any pets?

Previously, two cats, lost at ripe old ages.  Currently, a lab mix, 6 years old, and a Guinea Pig.  The latter not my idea.   :-\

RE oven cleaning - at least I don't have to do it the old-fashioned way, spreading newspapers all over the floor, spraying Easy-Off inside the oven, then crawling inside to wipe off all that gunk!

Years (and I mean, y-e-a-r-s) ago, in the early rehearsal stages of a show DR Elmore was directing he had all the cast members do pantomime improvs (girls, a household chore; guys, a sport or game).  Mine was cleaning the oven, the old fashioned way.  Nobody guessed what I was doing until I gagged and coughed.

Singdaw what color is the guinea pig?  I had one when I was young.

When I first began posting here I had 4 cats and 1 dog.  I said I was never getting a pet again.  My friends didn’t believe me, especially not getting a cat again.  Sherlock likes cats so we can always get one in the future.  I always knew I would get a dog again for Keith, just like I did the last time when I said no more dogs.

Pet photos are a must here.  I will be expecting some in the near future.

What no fish?
;D ;D

The lab mix is named Zach, he was a rescue dog, from a shelter, and came named already - and trained, responding to hand signals, belive it or not!
He is a very good boy and was making lots of "snow angels" on our walk this afternoon!

The guinea pig is named Truffle.

Thanks for asking!   :)

And now for something completely different!

I was reading the Comcast.net news (my e-mail and Internet provider) and they had this article headline:  Tribe Puts Bridge on Grand Canyon's Edge.  It sounded interesting, so I clicked on the link.  It's about a Native tribe who've had a sky bridge loop built over the Grand Canyon!  It looks incredible!  Click HEREto get to their homepage.

Just had to share. :)

Adriana we almost got a chocolate lab.  Labs are much easier to groom it would have been the sensible thing to do.

Our last dog was a Bernese Mountain Dog.  She was so smart & wonderful we couldn't resist staying with the breed. She was just exceptionally small for the breed & just once we wanted a really large dog.  We were tempted to get a Newfoundland or a Mastiff.

I saw that in today's paper. It is a 20-mile drive on a washboard dirt road, no water or lodging or food or electricity when you get there. And $75 per person to walk on it.

He's white with brown splotches.  And a lot of work for a pet with very little personality!   :P

I'm a bit technologically challenged, but that will be an excuse to get working on figuring out the digital camera!

DR Laura I’m very glad the odds of my ever being in the vicinity is slim.  I have vertigo just looking at the website.
