Had a nice Jacuzzi and am now very relaxed.

I, of course, worked with Mr. Convy and liked him very much.  I also supped with his daughter some years later.

Oy. I just got an email from the district office for the meeting this weekend. According to Travelocity, Yahoo Travel, etc., the hotel they booked for us to stay in is a pit.

A nice review for The Brain from Andy Probst on some XM radio show:

I'll start with the cast recording of a musical from California. It's a bit of silliness from Kritzerland Records called "The Brain From Planet X." Now on this one, I don't think that all of the true charms of Bruce Kimmel and David Wechter's faux 1950s horror movie all come through outside of performance, but there's a lot to be enjoyed here as a group of aliens try to destroy the perfect nuclear family in the San Fernando Valley. It's all very cheese-y and there's more than a little bit of musical theater spoofery going on in here – a particular favorite is "Saucers in the Sky" – which sounds to me like a grand homage to "Five Black Dragons" from Sondheim's "Pacific Overtures." I imagine you'll find yourself smiling and humming along with this tuneful creation.

I took my DH to an urgent care clinic tonight, as he is feeling poorly. If I get what he has, I won't be making that trip to The Pit in Santa Ana.

Wink Martindale's Black Land Farmer is emigrating from Melbourne Oz to Fargo ND.
I knew my collection of 45 rpm recordings from 1961 would eventually be of use.

THank you Tom!!

I will keep an eye out for it... You are a gem!
