"Languishing beneath Samosa trees." Is that a Bollywood title?

Well, Charles, I don't think I can take it, 'cause it took so long to bake it, and I may never have that recipe again....oh, no-o-o-o-o-o!

Dumb lyrics, but VERY fun to sing, especially when one is "partying."

Well, I always assumed that the song was written while one was "partying".    -At least that's how Lapine and Sondheim came up with the idea for Sunday in the Park with George.  ;)

-Not that there's anything wrong with that.  Or with Sunday.

The city is a madhouse.  Went out to ship - signals out, debris everywhere - ridiculous - I mean, its pretty windy, but c'mon, this is LA.  Somebody exhales and the city falls apart.  Every two seconds firetruck and paramedic trucks screaming down the street.

Ah, DR Dan (the Man), that is often how I feel each morning, arising from my bed refreshed and rejuvenated!

It's a bed sheet and a tunic!  Two, Two!  Two treats in one!

I can't see the new BK AVVY either.  Maybe he did what I did and forgot to check the box during his edit.

Just got back from the 12:50 showing of "Sacco and Vanzetti" over in Pasadena.  LOVED the film - Peter and our own Edisaurus (not to mention DH Greg) should all be extremely proud of themselves.

But yeah, that friggin' wind is crazy out today - and like BK said, you can't go anywhere without hearing a fire truck siren...gotta love LA.

I was fortunate enough to see Gone With the Wind in London.  I enjoyed much more than I did the film.

There a 2cd (the London cast album is far from complete) of the Los Angeles cast with Lesley Ann Warren and Pernell Roberts. It is live but worth tracking down.

Robert Armin (Does anyone remenber DR Robert Armin?!) WAS in the L.A. productionof Gone With The Wind!

The kind of wind that actually moves your car from side to side?  I had that once after overeating at Taco Bell.

With or without rats?

No joke...but I usually catch my missed Office on dunderball.com -- that is before they are taken down within a few days and then put back up once a new episode has aired...heh heh heh.

Well, no one left my CAKE out in the rain, but the danged UPS man left all my PACKAGES out in the rain.

However, like DR Cillaliz last week, although the packaging was wet, miraculously, the contents were all fine.

So life is good.  :)

I'll be back soon -- need to drop a couple of bills in the mailbox and then deposit a check...always good when the check amounts to more than the bills.

I'm playing auditions for the upcoming Broadway revival with Max and Laura - a.k.a. "The Ones That Most(?) Of America Wanted".  There are still some ensemble roles to cast.

As for Ms. Marshall, she was not in the session I was at yesterday, but I believe she was in today.

It would probably be best if the director/choreography was in on the casting.  Did you tell Mr Ian you were a close friend of Mr John Kander?  My impression is that Mr Ian would have answered: "Who?"  ::)
