Last night, I taped a couple of things from the DVR to VHS tapes:  Oprah's episode with the cast of "Hairspray" (there's a guy who works at the Washington Center whose first cousin is Zac Efron's mother!) and "Bobbie's Girl" with Bernadette Peters and Rachel Ward.

Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

Today, I have rehearsal for "Taming of the Shrew...in Hell" and it just might be hell, too. ::) It's been very hot around these parts lately and we have a five hour rehearsal...not as long as BK's, but still it's pretty long.  But I only have three lines, so I won't have too much to worry about. ;)

A Paper Bag of Soup.

This is the title of my new folk song.

Cue fiddle and zither.  ;D

Breakfast with the Arts has some gal singer on who is one of the most pretentious and boring performers I have EVER seen....and I have seen a few.

Corinne Bailey Rae.  That is all.

"The album does allow the listener to have an imagination."

Thanks!!!!

Must be an Armenian composer!

And of course MR BK - you could alway come back with the retort that Mr Danny Thomas had for his family in MAKE ROOM FOR DADDY:

Are you out of your Mesopotamian mind?!!

So... Since I know I can just leave the car here, and have it taken care of and towed away later, I'm gonna concentrate on other things today.  -I'll make the necessary phone calls tomorrow or Tuesday, since I really need a break from stressing about the whole car situation.. at least for a day or two.  In any case...

We'll be heading back over to my parents' new house in a few, and then I'll be heading back up to Fairfax with them this afternoon.  I just hope the rain doesn't make the trip back up 95 too "iffy".

Good morning, all!  My horoscope this morning assures me that all of this chaos in my life will balance out soon, and I do hope so.  I was so fraught yesterday that I didn't want to deal with anyone or anything, so I never left the apartment. I'm not sure how I'm feeling beyond the frustrations over the office situation and the general estate angst.  If I have to drag some of the work from the office to the apartment, I'll be using the fire escape as an office and DR MBarnum will ber SOL. I am not very happy at the moment.

So, DR Jose, please tell Steve hello.

Happy birthday to DR Cason's Heather!

Happy birthday to DR Jose's mother Carmelita!
