Oh, and I have to tell you all about the guy at MOSI.  He called back today to get the coordinates for Mom's star.  I am so excited.

I'm hoping that I can arrange to go and see it this weekend or if not then sometime really, really soon.  He did say that I will have a live photo of the star and he will tell me all about it (how far away it is, how hot, what type of star, etc) once he get's a look at it for himself.

My Return to Oz has arrived in OZ. Thanks BK. I don't care for the movie itself though.

Hi Danise. I'm glad you had a good day today.

Thanks.  I'm sorry you have to cook.  I'm forcing myself to start to do so again.

My pork roast turned out pretty good.

Ohh... If I may talk about me for a second.... ;)

When I went to The Metropolitan Room Friday night with my friend, Chris, we were seated right next to a young woman and her parents.  -Well, since they seating at The Metropolitan Room is relatively tight, you're bound to sit next to someone's brother, sister, mother, father, etc.  In any case...

Chris introduced himself to our new "neighbors", and when it came time for me to introduce myself, the young woman said, "Oh, I know you, Jose.  You're wonderful."

She then went on telling her parents that I had played many an audition for her over the years, and that it was always a great comfort to her - and to others - knowing that I was at the piano.

That felt good.  :)

And you don't remember ever seeing her before in your life!

I knew nothing about "Return to OZ" and had no expectations except that DR OzDerek loved it. DP Colin and I watched it about two years ago and did not find it worth watching again. Horses for courses.

Yes, Sandra should not only tell the story of the Swedish Chef Hat, but post photographs.

Poor Miss Patti - she twisted her ankle whilst assisting me at the Avalon.  I was nowhere near when it happened, so please don't think I pushed her over or anything.

Looks like the kids and the cast are having a great time.

I'm reading and posting on my Nintendo DS right now.  It can be a little slow and clunky when navigating between pages, but otherwise it works pretty good,
And I can always switch cards and play Super Mario Brothers or Brain Age instead.

Hi, Danise!  Did the MOSI guy say that your mom's star is in the Little Dipper?

It better be in the Little Dipper!

Sorry Dan (the Man), it's not exactly "in" the dipper but close by.  On the star chart it's in the next section/box/quadrant   (I'm not sure of the term) but I think it is considered Ursa Minor.

My camera couldn't seem to take a good picture of the star map that you all sent.

Here is the best I can do and I hope I don't throw us into widescreen.

But it's not in Sondheim's handwriting, is it?  Isn't like the Pippin score that's still available?

Did the original listing for the item say it was in Mr. Sondheim's hand?  It sure didn't look like it to me.  And as DR elmore stated, it's just a reduction of the piano/conductor book, which is most definitely not in Mr. Sondheim's hand.

-And although it would be nice to have that as a "souvenir", you can pick up the published vocal score for $100-125.  And when it comes to scores, I buy them so that I can play from them, not so that I can put them on display.

Much as I'd love to catch up, I'm instead catching the lovely Kyra Sedgewick on some silly show on the Bravo Channel.

I'll catch up on the postings later.

And tonight is pizza night!

OK, I hope you can see the box between 70 and 75 degress.  The one with four stars that are sort of curving.  Mom's star is to the left of the 2nd star that is right by the 13H line.

Does that make sense?  I'm not to good at describing directions.

DR Ron Pulliam - Gotcha (in regards to esnipe.com).  Now...

Just how many of your posters, lobby cards, window cards, etc., are ever on display at one time?  Do you rotate them?
