The bottom star of the curve looks like a binary star on the chart.  Kinda like Tatooine in "Star Wars".

I think I should say on the chart I have.  The chart I posted is something I found on the net and doesn't show Mom's star but I hope it gives you an idea as to where it is.

Did the original listing for the item say it was in Mr. Sondheim's hand?  It sure didn't look like it to me.  And as DR elmore stated, it's just a reduction of the piano/conductor book, which is most definitely not in Mr. Sondheim's hand.

-And although it would be nice to have that as a "souvenir", you can pick up the published vocal score for $100-125.  And when it comes to scores, I buy them so that I can play from them, not so that I can put them on display.

The PIPPIN score in print is also one of Chelsea Music's Piano-Conductors.  The Green Books, which were just hardbound editions of the oversize Piano-Conductors, are wonderful items and I've always coveted them.  The only complete sets I've seen were at Chelsea Music and the collection of the late Larry Taylor who was Mathilde's printer.  Steve Sondheim should have a set up through INTO THE WOODS, since that was the show Mathilde was working on when I last saw her alive. Peggy Serra who used to work as a copyist for Mathilde copied all of Steve's later shows through BOUNCE, I believe, but the Green Books are no more.

Little Dipper  - aka  Little Bear!

"Little" Bear is laying right beside me as I type this.

Did I tell you that the Queen of the Dog park met her match on Sunday?
A Great Dane "puppy" about 10 months old who could bark louder then she could.  Chuckle.  She was quite taken back when he woofed at her.

Good evening, all.  My 3-day weekend has been quite relaxing and I'm not ready to go back to work tomorrow.  This afternoon I did some banking and some shopping and fixed a taste-of-summer dinner - BLT sandwiches and corn on the cob.

Thanks for those Party Animal photos crippled DR ADRIANNA PATTI....

Looks like the kids and the cast are having a great time.

Will you be getting any "credit" or "points" for you help, MR BK?

I always receive director credit.  We haven't discussed anything else, but we have an understanding that IF the show catches on and becomes a viable financial winner, I will receive an ongoing royalty - more important for me is involvement if it goes to TV.

Oh, and I have to tell you all about the guy at MOSI.  He called back today to get the coordinates for Mom's star.  I am so excited.

I'm hoping that I can arrange to go and see it this weekend or if not then sometime really, really soon.  He did say that I will have a live photo of the star and he will tell me all about it (how far away it is, how hot, what type of star, etc) once he get's a look at it for himself.

Very exciting!!!

Thank you for posting the star chart. :)

I just went over to the church to plant a cactus-like plant that someone donated. It appears we have a homeless man camped out on the corner.

Yes, Sandra should not only tell the story of the Swedish Chef Hat, but post photographs.

Poor Miss Patti - she twisted her ankle whilst assisting me at the Avalon.  I was nowhere near when it happened, so please don't think I pushed her over or anything.

lol- a post made for insurance purposes...

Well, I have just eaten some left over Chinese food and now should probably walk Dog Bosco as he seems to be getting plump, as am I, and we both need some exercise.

I didn't approach him. I saw him there as I was going over and came back home. I don't want any scary experiences, either. No excitement. That's my motto.

I really wanted to watch another episode of THE CLOSER, so I did watch the second one with Frances STernhagen as her mother. Just as enjoyable no matter how many times I see it.

DR S Woody: How was Kyra? I just got home from a contentious meeting in the new neighborhood and missed her. Was James Lipton as annoying as usual?

Are you calling her a pushover?

Ice, DR Adrianna! I fill up a 20 oz soda bottle with water and freeze it. Works good, and when it melts the water stays in the bottle. It really helped when some jerk ran a light and totalled my car...and my neck!

Next, I had started recording the Richard Dix prison movie on TCM that contained a gay prisoner (who ironed everyone's shirts). HELL'S HIGHWAY was the name of the movie. Very melodramatic, of course, but on OK prison picture.
