And good morning DR DtM.  I've still not hung the curtains yet!

I guess the neighbors are getting an eyeful!

Yikes!  I just turned around to look out my office window--it looks like it's night time!  No wonder I don't feel like working.

Wednesday morning greetings!  Today we're having a covered dish farewell luncheon for the manager of our department  :'(.

When his replacement takes office, he or she will be the 7th manager or assistant manager in my 10 years in this department.  I'd hoped to retire before having to break in another one.

LOL, DR FJL!  There will be plenty of that!

Depending on which part of the country you're in, this type of event may be called a covered dish, a potluck, or a pitch-in.  Any others?

Good morning all of you crazies and lovelies...

Yes it is early, and my suitcase is closed up.... Sugar is safely checked in at the "Doggie Hotel" at which she stays.... and I'm just checking over any last minute pieces of paper and stuff that I need for this trip.

And the wonderful and generous DR Laura is indeed already here, and I think (hopefully) taking some bird pictures in our neighborhood until it's time to leave.

TD, Shock Treatment rules. I don't think BK could stand it when he viewed it, but that film rewards multiple viewings. I've probably seen it 20 times.

Good morning, all! Another restless night. I was awakened around 6 AM by very strange dreams about nuns and demonic possession in Loudun in 1634, and this dream was the follow-up to one that woke me at 12:30 AM, something to do with the house where I grew up and its rather spooky cellar which terrified me all the years my family lived there.

My, my, ELMORE,  a historical dream! You have I think the most colorful and interesting dreams of anyone I know (who chooses to tell, anyway).

I wonder which song DRs have the most recorded version of in their collections.

I remember Michael Shayne compiling versions of "Send In The Clowns".

I've done Cds of Ebb Tide and Volare (for MBarnum) and more recently, "Begin the Beguine".

My next collection may be "The Shadow of Your Smile"

I made a mix for a friend once of my many "Caravan"s. If you have any organ albums, chances are, "Caravan" is on there.

Q for BK, did you know there are RATINGS GAME clips on youtube featuring the "Sitting Pretty" theme, the "Goombas" theme and others including "Dawn Patrol" which was a Hill Street Blues-like show about garbagemen.

Also, can see BK dressed as a woman in the army in "WACked Out!"

I have dozens of copies of "Everybody's Talkin'"---it was part of a "Harry All Day" webcast on his birthday, featuring hours of songs related to Harry Nilsson. His coverage of others, or others covering his songs. (ET wasn't written by him, which suprises people.) Some of the songs are by amateurs but are surprisingly good.

Harry of course wrote the song Davy Jones sings in that great HEAD sequence!

Good morning!

We had rain early this morning, so it's overcast right now but starting to clear a bit. The rain didn't cool things off enough for me to turn off the A/C and open the windows/doors, but maybe tomorrow. It is supposed to get cool tonight.

I thought of another surreal film last night before I turned off the light - FELLINI SATYRICON.
