Then DR FJL headed back to work.  I headed over to Ripley-Grier.  DR MusicGuy ran some errands.  And DR MBarnum headed on down to Jerry Ohrlinger's to but some movie stills and 8x10s.  -I had stopped by to check in on him, and, needless to say, he already quite the list of purchases.

After a dinner at Angus McIndoe, DR MusicGuy and I headed over to see A Chorus Line - Thank You, Baayork!

It really was a wonderful show tonight.  A good receptive audience, and some wonderful portrayals on stage.  This is my second time seeing this revival from the audience, and I have to say, I liked it so much better this time.  The show just really seems to have found its rhythm, its life over the past couple of months.  -And there were even six people out tonight!  -Which made for some interesting "casting": no Butch tonight (a.k.a. Boy with Headband), only one boy not picked after the opening, and a Caucasian Richie - who was actually quite good - although, I did miss the "joke" in his introduction).

Jason Tam was particularly touching tonight during his Paul monologue, and Joey Dudding (another understudy) was a wonderful Mark.  And after the show...

*And now you know what DR MusicGuy looks like from the front.  ;)

And, yes, we did indeed head back to the Brooklyn Diner for post-show dessert.  And DR MusicGuy just happened to snap this pic:

*And it looks like the young gentleman on the right will be calling me next week to set up some coachings.  -See, dessert can be good for you! ;D

And while I was walking by the Brooks Atkinson, I noticed they were starting the load in of the set for the upcoming revival of Grease.

This

is apparently part of the scenic elements.

Well, I'm supposed to be down at the Brooklyn Diner in about seven and a half hours, and then rehearsal, and then Company, and then dinner at Chez FJL & Skip, then possibly Curtains for me too.  -I'm thinking I might take tomorrow night off - I need to do laundry, so... We'll see.  But before I go...

DR Ginny - As for Sunday... Yes, the bakeries on the Upper West Side are open on Sundays.  As is the new gelato place which just happens to be a block away from Levain, so...  :)

*And I believe DR MBarnum will be seeing Avenue Q Sunday night.  ;)

And, yes, the NYMF shows sell out VERY fast.  So...  However, I do know they allow the staff for each show to hold a certain amount of tickets for the friends, agents, business associates, so...  Maybe an early head count could be taken, and then, bk, you could make sure a certain minimum number of tickets for a certain performance are set aside.

Yes, I'll hold whatever they allow me to hold.  I just got the twenty-two page contract - it gives me a headache just THINKING about it.  I really must hire a company manager/line producer come Monday.
