The only two episodes left in the set are actually two parts of the same story - the famous one that features Jean Simmons as a murder mystery author-rival of Jessica's. The very young Daniel MacDonald plays her stepson in this two-parter and Ken Howard is Jean's husband. Looking forward to seeing this outstanding mystery story again. Simmons is so good that she earned an Emmy nomination for her performance.

Apparentlly the NY HHW contingent is too busy having fun and going to broadway shows to post about what they've been up to!  ;)

I'm afraid all the errant and truant will have to make up for lost time.  Perhaps a little eyeshadow and rouge - lost time really likes eyeshadow and rouge.

Perhaps I'll watch a motion picture on DVD.

DP Colin and I met Blanche last October - I didn't notice anything particularly Camp about her. (But her name is just right).

It is too difficult to cut and paste google images with this little "tap pad" on the laptop...but I am very grateful that I can stay caught up while out of town.  The thought of trying to go back and read days and days of postings is too much!  :)

Just read the latest installment of "The Leading Men," and I enjoyed it thoroughly, DR Rodzinski. Good job as always!

"Who's on line" can be so useful.

Yesterday's TOTD.
We watched "The Good Shepherd" last night.
I had not seen Keir Dullea in anything for so long!. (Not being a watcher of TV, I guess that was not surprising).

At least it wasn't Tom Hanks in the lead role. That's always a plus.

So did the "episode" between Streisand and one of her four Broadway men that DR JoseSPiano referred to last week actually occur?  I can't seem to find any reference to it online anywhere...

Looking forward to hearing about the Shrew in heck and the Cabaret.  And theatre and eats reports from NYC.  I mean, it's going to be Mikey's virign encounter with The Great White Way!

I hope someone is taking care of his lemon petunias while he's away.

Penny O made a short stop in Ashland today.  We walked along the creek for a bit, and then escorted her back to her car.  She has a long drive home & really stopped to see Sherlock.  :) He was very happy to see her too.

My guess is that Libby Appel dropped bigger bombs in Ashland than could ever be found in a single car.

"I Don't Wear the Horns in the Show" - that's the name of the opening number in my new cabaret act!

The HHW between-shows party is but a memory.  The dishes are cleaned, and the dish forgotten (at least by me).
