The Hollywood Collector's Show, as of 1:30 this afternoon, was as big a deesaster as yesterday.  Not nearly the number of attendees, and many celebs sitting there like so much fish.

I'm afraid it's probably not worth much...I don't think it did too well at the box office.

I saw it on the plane to Orlando. It was cute, I'm glad I didn't pay for it at the theater

Guess what I just finished eating?  C'mon, guess.  Oh, well, I'll tell you - a Cherry Ripe!!!  My big box o' Cherry Ripe candy bars arrived from Australia in a mere four days.  There must be at least 100 bars in here.  And man, was it GOOD!  I like them best frozen.  Good eatin' ahead.

I've never had a Cherry Ripe. I know it was discussed this week, but what does it taste like?

I booked the first of my flights - too damn much money.

Still need a place to stay between August 5th and the morning of the 9th, and desperately still need a sublet for the big stay - August 22 to October 1st.

This morning "the girls" had to go to the vet for their shots.  They were not amused as I put them in their carriers.  I don't remember their shots costing so much in the past. I'm wondering if they charged me double for the office visit.  Anyway, the good news is Boo gained a few ounces so she's up to 7.1 pounds. So, she's ok.  Callie is up to 9.4 pounds. She had also been losing weight, so that was a good result as well.

Sounds similar to a Bing.  They are made at Palmer Candy Co here in Sioux City

BK - Has ET shown the footage they filmed when you were at the studio?  I didn't catch it every day this week, but didn't see anything on the days I watched.

Aw, it's ok. I bought some brownies at the store....and a lady walked up to me and noticed I had a  roasted chicken in my cart, so she handed me a coupon for a free bag of lettuce if you buy the chicken.  It thought that was really cool

Is anyone watching The Next Food Network Star?   I'm really curious to see who is going to win.  How about the strange turn of events during the last episode...I was surprised.

I also like ACE IN THE HOLE when Mr Douglas walks in to the office of the editor of the Albuquerque newspaper everything that was wrong with said paper.....and the editor reached into his own pocket and handed Mr Douglas back his nickel.

Robert Arthur is also very good in this movie....and in the Bing Crosby-Jane Wyman musical Just For You.

Since the late 1970s he has headed the California-based Project Rainbow organization to help aid Gay senior citizens.
