Software glitch/internet solution punchline of the week: OK, so both of us with Vista (

) have been experiencing this weird Error 46 problem when we try to initialize QuickTime, which you need to do to run iTunes, or watch some video embedded on web pages, etc. I have spent weeks looking for solutions, and manually doing stuff I normally don't like to do, like editing registry keys, etc. So's, anyhoo, finally found a site today that posted a solution (a little program you had to download and run in Command Prompt), which worked! Hallelujah. So I posted a thank you to the guy's comment board.
The punchline? I used two dashes (--) halfway through my comment, and he must have some weird HTML coding on his site, because everything after the dashes runs
