OH!   Christian Borle He was Not Dead Fred among others... cool I saw him in Spamalot.  He was great fun in it

I Love Christian Borle.  He is so talented.  I first saw him in this strange little off off broadway musical that was imported from Australia, called The Prodigal.  Since then, he's done many things - William Finn's Elegies, The Snoopy benefit concert, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Spam, and Blonde, plus others.  I always find him to shine no matter who else he shares the stage with.  The "I'm not dead yet" stuff was priceless.

I also liked Always look on the Bright Side of Life and the Fisch slapping song...

I also liked Whatever Happened To My Part.

I was trying to think of that. I was lucky enough to see Sara Ramirez before she won the Tony for the part

I didn't get the front yard mowed despite good intentions. It was just too hot to do it this afternoon. I stayed inside and cleaned the den.

I really need to go to sleep. I just keep watching the stuff about the bridge.  Not sure why these things fascinate me, but they seem to.. Sort of the I don't really want to watch this, but i can't NOT watch it.

I think of it whenever I see her in Grey's Anatomy.  I know I shouldn't, she's a totally different character, but I do anyway

DR Matt H, what did you decide about HOT FUZZ?

I'm going to buy it. My plans were to pair it with something coming out next week so I could get free shipping, but there are no releases next week that I'm interested in buying, so I'll look at other things on sale I can pair with it. I should have it by next week.

Finally got to the end of 8 SIMPLE RULES. The show had a little more humanity toward the end of the season, not quite as shrill and confrontational, but not enough to redeem it in my eyes.

Glad that ordeal is over.

I also watched the one special feature in the set - a 10 minute blooper reel. FUnnier than anything in the show.

Toward the end of the season, there were a few more guest stars on the show than they had in the beginning 2/3 of the episodes. Shelley Long guested on an episode, and I had to look hard to recognize her. She looked positively emaciated!

Cybill Shepherd played Katey Sagal's sister in the final two episodes of the season. Jason Priestly was also around for an episode.

RESCUE ME had a much more dramatic episode this week. The opening sequence involved a horrific fire in which seven babies were killed. The final image of the episode was also rather horrifying.
