Yes, as Larry said, I have a friend in a Fringe Show. It's a case of a good actor in a bad show. I will talk to him today and tell him I enjoyed his performance but the play is not very good. It's only 5 performances so it will be over soon (in fact this weekend).

It's always dangerous posting without completely catching up from the previous night, but...

In case no one else has posted, here are production photos from Young Frankenstein.

BTW, thanks, DR George, for your report on the show.

The pain in my shoulder has finally reached the melt-down point.  The Vicodin no longer helps.  Next Tuesday's MRI can't come fast enough.

Thursday morning greetings!  No, I didn't stay up all night, just forgot to log out from here.

DR TCB - DH Richard just returned from a follow-up with the hunk surgeon who operated on his shoulder 4 months ago.   You'll be in my thoughts as you proceed down this path - vibes for your MRI!

Hmm... I guess we had some rain overnight.  And we're due for some storms this afternoon and early evening too.

Don't forget your umbrella, DR Cason!

*Or did you leave that in L.A. too?  ;)

If DR Cason had to go to Brooklyn for tap shoes, might he have to go to The Bronx for an umbrella?  Or Staten Island?

Just teasing, DR Cason  ;) !

He could go to any street corner and find an African immigrant selling umbrellas which might last through the first use, if you're lucky. They used to be $3.00 I don't know what they cost in 2007.

Good morning, all!  I slept poorly and now I'm behind schedule for today, so I may make a few adjustments in my plans, which include another NYPL trek. I'm hoping the person I may have offended yesterday is a forgiving sort and calls me back today, but it may be an irreparable situation.  I hope not.  Any vibes would be appreciated.

Have I told you all how much I love the new office?  When I first saw it, buried in moving cartons, I wasn't too certain about it.  Now that the space is workable - although still computerless - I think it's quite excellent, much better than the grungy warehouse look of the other.

DR Elmore - situation-repairing vibes for you!

When Richard and I are in town the first week of October, would you give us a tour of the new office?  We never saw the old one.

DR Ben - No, but that's what immediately jumped to mind when I saw it, too!  It's from a Fringe production, Riding the Bull.

They're usually $5.00.  Saves them from having to make change in the rain (usually).  However, I have some friends who have had luck with the $10.00 umbrellas - the ones that come with the retractable cap/sleeve (that looks like those collapsible pill cups).  They usually make it through two or three rain events.
