Oh that Babs would turn to BK for the production of an album.

Do you realize it has been 11 years since Babs was in a movie?

Colin and I both loathed the film of Prince of Tides. It was the screenplay that was the  problem.

I was struck by such a sense of nostalgic yearning while watching "TWWW" today.

I remember the first time I heard the song, listened to the soundtrack album and saw the movie.

I was in Vicenza Italy.  I have such incredible sense memories of how the music made me feel and how I related it to the time and place I was in.

Truly plucked some chords, it did.

No that I bothered with it.  I thought the prequel was so very unfunny!

In every way, including DeNiro.

At any rate, I love "Meet Joe Black" for many reasons, including the fantastic production design, exquisite photography, singularly domineering performance of Anthony Hopkins and the exquisite and emotionally powerful/draining Thomas Newman score.

I'm trying to think of an American movie I've enjoyed this year.

"Little Miss Sunshine".

Hah! I was just now writing an email to Peter and telling him about SONG OF NORWAY. I've wanted to go to Norway ever since I saw that film. Even with the cheesy 70's cinematography, the scenery is still breathtaking! And Grieg is one of my favorite composers, too.

I also like Greig...

BTW, some member of the Norwegian Royal family always pays a visit to North Dakota and Minnesota

Interesting. I wasn't aware Netflix had any customer service whatsoever. All I've experienced are very limited options. But I heartily welcome this change. REAL customer service! Will wonders never cease?

It will be nice to see AMERICAN based customer service than that from overseas

My sister called and asked if I would come over and (finally) move the light fixture from her former dining room area to her new dining room area.  I said that I would and, as much as I'd like not to, ::) several days ago I said that I would...and I even suggested today as the day to do it, since I have nothing to do, except surf the 'Net and also listen to the show tunes digital music channel.  So, off I go.

Until later.  Have a good day, all! ;D

I went to my sister's and the light fixture moving wasn't as easy as I'd thought, but it all got done and now my sister's happy...for now.  She still needs to get a new light fixture for the former dining room area, which is now what she calls the TV room.

After that, I came home and watched (and taped for my friend Margo) "High School Musical 2."  It was okay.  Probably not something that I would've watched on my own (although, I did choose to watch the first one ::)).

After that was over, I just sat in my chair listening to the show tunes digital music channel and I fell asleep!  I haven't fallen asleep in front of the TV in quite a while.  I guess I needed the 2+ hour nap just before going to sleep. ;)
