Those have to be contacts, don't they?  Does anyone really have eyes naturally that color?

You mean Anderson Coopers eyes??  I've seen clips of him when he was much younger and his eyes were that color. :)

TOD

I was quite a fan of Peter Jennings.  He went through his pompous period, but overall I thought he was an excellent journalist, which I think is probably the highest compliment you can give a TV anchor.

My other choices would have to be Huntley & Brinkley but, most of all, Frank Reynolds.  I know I am dating myself, but hey I do that quite often.

I don't like the TV news
To see or even heed it.
I like to have news in my hands
To fold and even read it.

Thanks!  I'm going to need it!  If anything goes wrong, my sister will be very upset...even though she's the one that chose a TV to "fit" the shelf unit but didn't take into account the need for air circulation because the TV gets hot. ::)

I didn't realize that Art Carney was in your production.  Between you, Martin Mull, and BK; we have an all-star cast.

Oh, okay Miss Karen, Case can be part of that group, too!

I am curious on how Jose got a full body Simpson character AND in a kitchen?  Jose, did you go to the Burger King site or did you use the other site, that I could never get to open?

DUMB POLITICAL STUNT OF THE MONTH:

ASSOCIATED PRESS

Quote
JOHN EDWARDS' UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE PLAN WOULD MAKE REGULAR CHECKUPS MANDATORY

TIPTON, Iowa - —  Democratic presidential hopeful John Edwards said on Sunday that his universal health care proposal would require that Americans go to the doctor for preventive care.

"It requires that everybody be covered. It requires that everybody get preventive care," he told a crowd sitting in lawn chairs in front of the Cedar County Courthouse. "If you are going to be in the system, you can't choose not to go to the doctor for 20 years. You have to go in and be checked and make sure that you are OK."

He noted, for example, that women would be required to have regular mammograms in an effort to find and treat "the first trace of problem."

The government focing you to go to a docter and get nekid?

Women jailed for failing to get a mammogram?

This is a stance who's only consequence will be a long list of "Anybody But Edwards" voters.

The barbecued chicken turned out very tasty for my lunch. And the cake was especially delicious. I'm ashamed to say I had two piece and may have another tonight.

Though I had planned to temper the episodes with something else, I went ahead and spent all afternoon watching THAT GIRL. Among the episodes I watched were two of my favorites: the one where Ann gets trapped in a folding bed and the one that featured three members of her family: her sister Terre, her brother Tony, and her father who made a brief cameo at the end of the episode.

Listened to a couple more commentaries, and they were just as dull and near-silent as the one on the second disc. If she and Bill Persky want to watch the episodes, watch them on THEIR time and then spend OUR time commenting on the making of the episode. In one of the commentaries, she couldn't remember who was playing the man offering her a job - it was mcLean Stevenson.

I only have two more episodes to go, and I will be done with the box. One of those contains the last of the commentary tracks.

Oh, I looked up which CLOSER episode was being repeated tonight at 8: it's the murder of the female Homeland Security Agent (who had been having an affair with Chief Pope).

Which I'm glad I've seen. My 8PM is the new KYLE XY (and a 5 I get to see a re-reun of the episode I missed - hurray for marathons!)

I wonder if Brenda will drag out that damn white hat again at 9 :D
